Stuttering – Fefe Dobson
"I thought you said 'It's you and me against the world, babe'... But I guess you're with the world against me huh…" the hurt, accusation and bitterness apparent in my voice.
"No … N-never I j-just I-I didn't..."
"You know… if you want to fix this than lying will only make it worse. If you really care about me tell me the truth. Who was she?"
"N-nobod-d-dy. I d-don't remember"
"You can tell me whatever you want. You can tell me you were drunk or whatever just don't tell me you don't remember. Because I know you better than you know yourself. And don't say I'm crazy. I know you very well"
"I'm sorry Jenni-"
"I don't want to hear your sorry now. Stop stuttering your words, it's only making you look worse"
"I will make it up to you I-"
"If you can't be honest with me, than I'm afraid this is the end"
I left him standing there wet from the rain and shivering. I pulled my coat tighter. This is my life and I'm not going to let anybody ruin it. Maybe it's a sign for me to consider the pentagon's offer. Maybe it will make me some good after all of this; maybe I can start fresh with new people in a new place.
