Why me
When the stars of heaven were woven,
All of heaven was waiting for me.
All of the moon, gods, nature and men
Yet I had no choice, I was chosen to be.
Did I choose to be a child of destiny?
Did I choose to be a part of the game?
I had not wished to go on this journey.
For I know nothing will ever be the same.
I was not asked if I want to be the light,
In my heart I feared the fight with a god.
I had no choice but to go to endless night,
To fight and slay the now awaken lord.
In depth of despair I killed him, for peace.
Yet my task was not complete, Why me?
It was a few years after the fight,
At which time my son was born.
Yet when I was away he was stolen,
I had to once more wield the light.
My journey took me far and wide,
To gather old friend as well as new.
Emperor and seer joined our rank of few,
To find the place that is no more.
I had to slay demons and dragon,
But in end all the choice was a lass.
My heir was a boy of no evil intent,
While my foe's heir was my son.
The seer chose light over darkness,
Yet still none answered my plight.
Why me?
