A/N: Hey there :) this will be my first ever Ron/Hermione one-shot, so please excuse the crappiness of it. I hope you like it. This is what I think should have happened in the Deathly Hallows after Harry and Ron's argument.

"Well then leave, if you want to," shouted Harry.

"Fine, I will," shouted Ron. He flung his rucksack on his back and was about to go when he turned to Hermione. "And what about you. Are you coming or are you staying?" he asked her. Hermione looked at her two best friends in despair and turned back to Ron.

"I can't leave Harry," she cried. Ron sighed.

"Fine. I get it. You chose him," said Ron storming out of the tent. Hermione ran out behind him, screaming his name.

"Ron, come back," she cried. No response. She called him again and again, but he wouldn't respond. Then, she said it. "I-I love you." Ron stopped dead in his tracks. All of a sudden, he heard the voice of the locket whispering in his ear, "Of course she doesn't, who could ever love you." He flung the locket off his neck and started to walk towards Hermione.

"Is this a sick plan of yours to try and make me stay?" he screamed at her.

"Of course not Ronald," she screamed back at him. He studied her for a second. Her bushy hair was flying everywhere from the wind. Her beautiful brown eyes were brimming with tears, and Ron thought that she had never looked more beautiful in her whole life. Still drunk from the power of the locket, Ron moved closer to her, so their faces were close together. "Hermione, you chose Harry. I can't forget that," he whispered. He kissed her lips lightly and disapparated.

"RON, PLEASE COME BACK!" she screamed at him, but it was too late. He was gone.

Feedback would be lovely :)
