Better Than This

Author's Note: I do not own Vampire Academy but Richelle Mead does. :)

I hate going to therapy.

It's nothing but intrusive people who call themselves therapist wanting to know your life story and pretend like they understand you.

"Rose it's only an hour." My mother Janine told me.

I signed, "Yea, an hour of my life wasted."

Mom rolled her eyes and mumbled something in Scottish.

For a whole month i've been going to therapy because of my anger issues.

Most of everyone at the office gave up on me except for my therapist Alberta who is determined to keep me in check.

"Mom I don't need to know Scottish to understand that you're talking about me."
"Rosemarie keep your mouth closed."

"I'll keep my mouth closed once you start to keep your legs closed."

Mom slammed on the breaks making me hit my head against the dash board.

"Fuck!"
"Look Rosemarie, that was last year, and this is a new year."

"Yea and last year you got pregnant and you still don't know who the father is."

My mother gripped the steering wheel making her knuckles turn white.

Well looks who has anger issues now.

Wonder who I got that from.

Mom took a calming breath, "Never speak to me that way again."

The way her voice sounded.

A mixture or warning and annoyance.

I knew I tested her limit and I didn't want to go any further.

With that she drove up to the office and I walked to the second floor where Alberta's room was.

When I walked in she wasn't there but a tall man was.

His back was turned against me.

He looked about 6'7, muscle built, his skin is tan like, and his hair was tied back into a ponytail. His suit looked very expensive.

"Where's Alberta?" I asked him.

He turned to face me. And my god!

He's sexy!

He's like a work of art.

"She retired. I'm Dimitri Belikov, your new therapist."
