None of them knew how he did it
His smile could keep a lighthouse lit
One suspected, then dismissed, but it popped up again, why?
And this is the story of how the hero died.
His secret identity was perfect, though in doubt
His eating habits made others think he was a lout
Every day he said he was a hero
And talked with others, as if they were friend, though his number was zero
He was smart, and very strong
He pretended to be not, leaving the others in the wrong
They laughed, some made jokes, other kirt
Even though he saves them, he hurts
They made fun of his non-existing fat
And his hamburgers, his favorite snack
He worked out daily, and was ever so fit
None of them saw, never cared to see it
His bent up glasses, all dirty and scratched
In his mind though, every insult lasts
His family checks up on him, once a year
The day was Christmas, and it seemed to bite him in the rear
'The Heros days are numbered' he finally admits at last
The plane that saved so many was just about to crash
Though he wanted to retire, live a new life, just try
He couldn't stop playing around with his lie
He took a knife, as his hands shook
He couldn't bear to see those mocking looks
Stepping out of his house, he began to ran
Right to the field where it all began
With a pen and paper, he scrawled this things:
Hey, I'm so sorry but I need to gain wings
And if I decide that heaven is too boring
Then this is a freaking warning
Life with you totally stunk
You treated me like a punk
You think I would want to live in that house?
You think I am dumber than a mouse
In ten years, I hope you are well,
Cuz' by then I will be banished to hell
I cared for each of you weirdos
Now, I think about it, did any of you really need a hero?
Now with this, he finishes his final goodbyes
He was prepared to go to the next life
Folding his paper in his pocket with a crackle,
All of a sudden, he was tackled
The man wore a bowtie and suspenders
To be honest, he looked like a bartender
He said,"Don't be daft, you silly fool,
can't you see the world still needs you?"
The hero was astonished, at this mans madness
"Can't you see my dear boy, you'll cause them all sadness?"
"Yes but-" The Hero began to try
"See! Your convincing yourself to die!"
"I've seen thousands die, millions more
but each life is important, rich or poor.
So don't go throwing your life away
go have some fun, go out and play!"
"But I don't want to live in this life."
The Hero said with some strife
"So? Go and run away, I do it all the time.
No, I don't think it's a crime."
The strange man picked up the Hero until he was on his feet
"Don't worry, one day again we'll meet.
But right now, I can't stay much longer
after all, I am the Doctor."
And that, my friends is how the Hero died
He never came back, however anyone tried
It was an almost disaster, a close call
So lets end bullying and suicide once and for all.
Yay! Go Doctor Who! Anyways, wanted to share this with you. Made it around midnight a few weeks back and I felt like sharing. Please REVIEW and I want to know what you think of this crappy poem. Thanks again.
