Spontaneous

Sharon just about had enough of Jackson Raydor. She swore she could kill him.

"Sharon, honey, I'm just saying you should do what I told you about the Herdert case. You'd be following whatever almighty rules if you did. Plus, my idea works better. You know I'm right."

"It involves one of us acting dead." She said, aggravated.

"So."

"So it will be you who does it."

"Why?"

"Because it was your brilliant idea. And with the way you're irritating me, you won't be acting by then because a bullet from my gun will find its way into your head." She was now yelling. She started to walk away because she had enough.

"Violent. Finally acting spontaneous now though." He said, knowing it will get into her head.

She stopped dead in her tracks. She turned around and gave in death glare. He stayed unfazed, use to them. "What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means you're not twenty." Now he was in her head.

"What?"

"You're not young. You're not spontaneous."

"You don't have to be young to be spontaneous, Jack." She gritted through her teeth.

He took two steps forward. "Prove it."

At that moment, Andy Flynn came walking up, wanting to give and update on the case. "Hey Capt—"

He was cut short when Sharon pressed her lips onto his and a forceful yet passionate kiss. She plunged her tongue into his mouth without permission. Her arms snaked around his neck and she deepened the kiss. Andy just barely got back into his mind at that moment and began to respond. He slipped his arms around her waist. She was shocked that he responded but kept kissing him a few moments more. She broke the kiss when the need for air was so much. She slipped out of his arms and turned to her husband.

"How's that for spontaneous?" She shot at him and marched to her office and slammed the door shot, closing the blinds after.

The two men watched her with amazement. Andy turned to Jackson.

"How could you ever be separated with her?" He asked. "I'm mean…wow."
