Sea of Blue Green

Victoire had always imagined Teddy with blue-green hair. She didn't know why, but she could always imagine him walking through a corridor blue-green hair waving in the sunlight pouring through the windows. Teddy was her crush, her only weakness. They had been friends practically since they were born. Teddy lived with his grandmother, but often visited her Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny. Over time they grew closer, and soon enough they both entered school already knowing someone attending. Victoire had dated numerous boys. She had dated John, Louis, Zack, and countless others but somehow it always seemed to come back to Teddy.

Teddy, the boy who was there when she broke her arm at the playground near where she grew up. Teddy, the boy who had actually comforted her when she experienced her first broken heart. It seemed as if her world was interconnected with his perhaps by coincidence or even fate. Teddy didn't seem to return that love until there fifth year. They were both studying in the library, and preparing for final exams. Everyone was excited about the upcoming holiday. They sat together as they normally did, but Teddy noticed something different about Victoire.

Victoire, the girl who had always show compassion towards him. Victoire, the girl who had been there every year to comfort him on the anniversary of the death of his parents. It seemed as if his world was interconnected with his perhaps by coincidence or even fate. As he looked at Victoire he realized her soft features, the light touch of her skin whenever it passed over his. He smiled and she smiled back. Something had changed between them, and neither of them quite knew what it was. Later that summer when Victoires' Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry were having a party they met again. Teddy had worn his hair blue-green, and Victoire didn't quite know why. As the party progressed the two teens found a small corner of the yard to catch up with each other.

They discussed gossip and next term, but Victoire couldn't help but stare at Teddy's hair. "Why did you wear your hair that way?" she asked curiosity finally getting the better of her. He just shrugged.

"I thought you might like it." As there eyes met something sparked and they both found themselves leaning into each other. Their lips met igniting a fire between them. A bond was formed that would never be broken. They broke away from each other, and sat back on the grass staring at the sky. It was Teddy that broke the silence.

"Victoire, I love you, you know that right?" She turned to him shocked by what he had just said.

"I love you too." she said looking straight in the eye. Victoire curled up against Teddy and they fell asleep her hair mixed in with his sea of blue-green.
