Authors Note: So, I fell in love with RK/SM all over again. I mean anyone else excited for the re-release of the Manga Sailor Moon/Sailor Venus. Also, I kind of figured there wasn't anymore RK/Sm stories out there and it made me kind of sad.
Act one: Blood still on her hands
Usagi stared blankly at her hands, which just a moment ago showed blood on them. She looked shook her head to clear the image from her mind. This wasn't good at all, that was life-times ago, or so it felt to her. Those bloodshed days, where she watched him shed so much blood. Was she a killer by default?
It was the Meiji Era from what she could tell. The country of Japan wasn't consumed by a war and nobody was living in fear. The people that walked the streets all were at ease and not a single sword was seen in sight. A smile graced her face.
"Kenshin-san, you did it."
She continued her wandering further into the streets of Tokyo, where everything caught her eyes and ears. This time and place was different from the time she knew and perhaps kinder to a boy, who deserved so much happiness. A cool breeze blew through the city, causing the girls dress to blow in the breeze.
A shriek escaped from her lips. The streets were alive and along with it a lone wolf was watching everything from an alleyway. A trail of smoke escaping from the ends of his burnt cigarette, that he held in between his fingers.
Amber eyes narrowed as he caught sight of something blond. Blond hair was very unusual in Japan, it wasn't something you would miss. He knew of one person who had that hair-color and she was the Battousai, the last time in Kyoto.
A smirk crossed his face as he came out of the alleyway to watch the girl. There was only one place she would be headed and if she knew anything about the Battousai, she knew where to find him. The Meiji era was beginning to look interesting.
"The little bunny has come home."
Kenshin was in the middle of the dojo doing laundry for the day. The girls were helping him, by getting soap bubbles in his eyes. The girls laughter rang through the yard, as they watched Kenshin rubbed the soap out of his eyes.
"Ken-san we got you."
The red-headed swordsman started laughing with the girls. He might be good with a sword, but when it came to children, he had no clue what they were up to. The day was nice and sunny, no injuries or anything upsetting to deal with.
But the air felt different today. He couldn't place his finger on it, but there was something coming their way soon. Kenshin was pretty sure it wasn't anything threatening, his senses would have alerted him to anything dangerous.
But what was going to happen?
Alright. So it wasn't the best beginning, I'm hoping to get a little more progress to the story. Anybody ever notice that when Saitou shows up, it isn't good? Lets see how this turns out.
