It was raining, so I decided to make my first fanfic on the topic. Hope you enjoy! Tell me what you guys want to see next!

Percy used to love the rain.

He loved how cozy it is to be inside, feeling safe. He loved the water. Since he could will himself dry, he can jump anywhere and every single water puddle he could find. He could practically take showers outside. Or he can play dangerous and do magic tricks to people by instantly turning dry.

Mostly, he loved the sky.

The sky reminded him of Annabeth. Her calculating and glaring eyes, exactly the same color of a storm. It also reminded him of how she was during battle; fierce, unforgiving, merciless. And he loved her that way. But know he hates the rain.

A lot.

Now the rain reminds him of his sorrow, his longing, his misery. Ever since Annabeth, well, was gone, Percy's never thought of anything else except for her. Everytime it rains, he always feels a deep pain in his heart. And the gray. The gray color reminded him now of black and white; no color, or no happiness.

Percy strolled decided to finally get off of his bed, and took a walk in New York. He went around. He saw his old apartment, now inhabited by other people, and the Empire State Building looming in the distance. He decided to go to Starbucks and get a coffee, to take off his excessive thinking and stress.

"A cappuccino, please," Percy murmured.

"Sorry?" The cashier asked. Percy repeated his sentence more loudly.

She handed him his drink, and stared him down. Percy noticed, and immediately got very angry. He pulled out his pen, uncapped it, and pointed the tip of the blade so fast the cashier got startled.

"Listen here, if you want you dusty butt saved, you better not come near me, or I will slice you up so hard you won't even know what hit you. You. Do. Not. Want. Me. Angry." With that he walked out, leaving the woman and everyone else in the store wide-eyed. He didn't even care if his sentence didn't stop the woman.

He walked down the street to see a familiar blonde girl in the distance. He barely read her face, stormy gray eyes, with a slightly annoyed expression.

Annabeth.

He immediately started sprinting for his life toward her. He was so excited and happy, he was starting to have tears. He didn't even care if his Starbucks was spilling all over the place. He finally reached her after a minute, and hugged her as hard as he could. But he didn't notice the disgusted-like expression in her face. He backed up and saw a brunette haired woman, in a suit, just looking at him with pure disgust, as if her face was saying, Ew, who does he think he is?

"Who are y-"

"Sorry, I thought you were someone else." Percy replied before she even asked. He walked out of the scene fast, and found his apartment.

He placed his Starbucks in his kitchen table, went to his balcony. He got that pain again, fell to his knees, and cried for his Annabeth to return.
