AN: I actually wrote this a long time ago. I found it sitting on my hard drive and felt like posting it. I'm really not sure how good it is or if I like it or not.
Also, this is manga-based. Chances are 99% of my serious/legit fics will be.
I know more of your recent past than you think I do, other self. I know of your games of life and death. But you're different now. You've changed.
So when this Pandora man stands in front of us and challenges us to the ultimate game, a duel to the death, how does it make you feel? Does it disturb you the way it disturbs me?
I can see that it does. Your heart cringes and shies away from the thought.
But you're not going to save him.
Does it sicken you the way it sickens me?
It would seem that it does. Your stomach churns in repulsion.
But you're not going to save him.
His life points will click down to zero, and the saw blades will begin to creep towards him. You'll see the terror in his eyes and the panic in his frantic movements. You'll look down at the key in your hand as his screams echo throughout the room.
And you're not going to lift a finger to help, are you?
You've grown, other self. You've changed. But not enough. Not quite.
So until you grow some more, you can leave forgiveness up to me.
