Tales Of The Elves
Prologue:
This is a story about elves that J.R.R Tolkien brought to life in his marvelous books, The Lord Of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. This story involves many of the elves mentioned in Tolkien's books. I hope you enjoy!
Arwen sat alone in her Palace, thinking of him. "Why does it have to be this way," she said to herself. "I love him, and he loves me. We should not be separated like this." Then, she quietly wept and thought of her love, Aragorn, Son of Arathorn.
Though he was quite handsome, he had no love. But he did not care. In fact, he liked it quite fine, because he wouldn't want what had happened to Aragorn and Arwen to happen to him. Legolas was happy to be single, because he found it easier to fight that way. He enjoyed fighting for him and his friends, so that one day the world of evil would no longer be. Legolas felt it was his duty to protect his people.
Galadriel started to feel bored with her life. "Yes, I am the Queen of the Elves, but all I ever do is sit around and tell people what to do," she thought. "I never get to explore or go on journeys or anything like that. It's time to change that. Yes, that's right. I'm going to withdrawal myself as Queen of the Elves, and let someone else have this duty. And I know just who to ask."
Arwen was sad, and it was very hard for her to get up to answer the knock on the door. However, her father had gone out to visit some old friends, and no one else was at home. Therefore, she got up to answer the door. When she opened it, she saw a servant girl, smiling cheerfully. "Yes?" Arwen said, still with tears in her eyes. The servant girl spoke very softly. "Hello, Arwen. I am a servant of Queen Galadriel, and I have come to tell you that the Queen Galadriel would like to have a word with you. She says it's very important." Arwen was uneasy. What would the Queen of the Elves want with me? But she went with the servant to see what the Queen wanted.
Legolas was sharpening his arrows, when he heard the sound of a horse's hoofs galloping towards him. This could be danger, I'd better be prepared, he thought. He got his arrows ready, but before he could draw his arrow, he saw that he was in no danger. Galloping elegantly towards him was a beautiful girl dressed in a long blue gown. Oh, no, he thought, I think I'm beginning to wish I were not single.
