She was on the edge. Her body hot, her bottom lip indented with the impression of her teeth, her head thrown back in ecstasy as she rode him. His face was twisted with desire and his breathing was heavy. He used his hands as a vice to steady her rhythm so he could last longer but it was pointless.

"Livvie." He whispered

She moaned as she felt him grow larger inside her. She knew he was close and for once she wanted to outlast him. She picked up her pace and pulled his mouth into hers. She sucked his bottom lip, knowing it drove him crazy.

"I love you." She breathed in his crimson ear as she gripped his thick curls.

And with that, he groaned. His body jerked and she felt him pulse inside her moist walls. She smiled as climbed off him and went into the bathroom to clean up. She grabbed a warm washcloth to wipe him off and walked back into the room.

"Fitz ?" she called. But there was no answer. "Fitz ?" She was louder now.

She smiled as she walked to the kitchen expecting to see his naked form illuminated from the light in the ginormous refrigerator, drinking a glass of water, but there was only darkness.

"Fitz?" Her voice was panicked now. Where was he ? She ran through the house screaming his name frantically but only silence responded.

"Liv?" someone was screaming her name. "Liv?! What's wrong."

Olivia jumped up and opened her eyes. She was drenched in sweat and her mouth was dry. She was terrified.

"Liv?" It was Jake. He was in his boxers standing over her, his green orbs filled with worry. "You were screaming. You scared me."

"I'm fine, Jake. You should go." She was annoyed.

"You didn't sound fine. You- never mind." He shook his head and started towards the door. He paused with his hand on the doorknob. "You said you were leaving it all behind. You were supposed to leave him behind too."

"You don't know what it's like. To love someone who isn't yours." She whispered tearfully.

"yes, I do." He turned to her, smirked, and closedthe doorheading back to his room.

She heard his door slam. How long could she continue like this? She was tired of holding her breath, being strong, and invincible. It was time to take care of herself and that meant letting go.

She undressed and stepped into the familiar glass shower of the hotel she'd been staying in for the last month. And she cried. Until the water was cold, her fingers were pruned, her eyes burned and her throat was sore.
