It was dark, nearing midnight. Cruella's carriage racing through the woods after he had received a rather urgent summons from Maleficent. The witch wrapped herself in her well know white fur coat, she'd occasionally glance out of the window to She the snow fall, before her icy blue eyes scanned over the wrinkled letter in her hands. She did not want to admit it, but she was quite concerned over her friend. Heading that she had fallen ill, it did frighten her. But of course, she was too proud to make it obvious. The woman took a rather large breath in, exhaling as she ready the letter once more.

Cruella,

You are receiving this summons to my castle as an urgent request. I have a matter to discuss with you about my current state of health. I do not wish to turn to anyone else on this matter yet. I will send for a carriage to arrive to your winter palace in two days time. Please, do not let me down."

~Maleficent

The witch's carriage came to an abrupt halt. She could hear the Clydesdales neighing. Looking out the window, she had arrived at what she still considers a ghastly palace. Her footman, Jasper, slipping around on the ice attempting to reach out the his queen's hand, "My lady..." Cruella gave him a slight smirk as she slips out from her carriage, adjusting her fur as she made her way toward the castle doors. Knowing they'd be enchanted, the doors swung open, allowing the witch to strut her way through the castle. Reaching Maleficent's bedchambers, Cruella tossed her fur coat on a nearby futon, revealing a slender black gown, with a plunging neckline. A simple diamond necklace draped around her neck. After waiting a few moments, she began to call out her name, "Maleficent? Daaaaahling? Mal?" After a few more moments of waiting, a rather glowing Maleficent appeared from out of the shadows, "My dear, I thought you'd never arrive." Cruella perked a brow at the blonde, "Well, it's quite rude to keep your guest waiting. But I shall give you a pass, just this once." The witch smirked, making her way to a table, pouring herself a glass of gin, "What will it be tonight, Maleficent. Gin? Whisky? Your needle?" Maleficent took a deep breath in, "None of the above, I am afraid." Cruella looked up at the blonde with a confused look, before making her way to the futon, sitting herself down, "Rather odd to be summoned to this ghastly place without the two of us drinking our sorrows away. Is it because of those heroes and that bloody tree incident? Oh Dahling, believe me..." Mal sighs, interrupting her, "Cruella I am with child." Ice blue eyes widened, the glass of gin slipping through her fingers, shattering to the ground. "And that's the reaction I was expecting. "

Cruella sat in shock. She had thoughts of Maleficent catching a rather deadly plague or she had been attacked. But this, this to Cruella was just disturbing. "Dahling...you...you're with child? Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" Maleficent sighed, sitting down in the futon beside Cruella, "Because I wasn't certain up until quite recently. The Dark One, he had confirmed the pregnancy." Cruella's eyes widened more, "Because you can really trust what that imp says." Maleficent sighs, "Cruella, I can't let this curse Regina tear this away from me. I need your help. Yours and Ursula's. You two are all I have." Cruella could see the fear, along with tears welling up in the blonde's eyes. Cruella, for once, actually felt sympathy for someone other than her own self. "Mal, Dahling, I'm no mother myself, I'm not exactly sure how I can be..of much help. But I can guarantee you that I will try..." Maleficent means in, resting her head on the wotch's Shoulder. "But tell me, Mal...who is the father?"
