Hi everyone (:
This was just a little oneshot I made about Quinn. I've always loved how much Quinn wanted to be perfect..soo I wrote a story about it.
Hope you like it
She didn't know when her perfect façade had ended. Maybe it was when she had become pregnant, or when she gave Beth away. All she remembers was wanting it back. Wanting the popularity, wanting the uniform, she just wanted it all.
Maybe she knew that she would never really win. That trying to be prom queen was going to be a failed attempt at perfection. That it was just going to be another thing she lost at.
Somehow she had gotten so good at it. Losing. She lost to Rachel, she lost to Shelby. She could never win. She thinks that maybe it's a family thing. Because everyone knows Rachel Berry was a star and she would always get what she wanted.
Rachel had gotten the boy, the voice, she even had the trophies. The thing was that Rachel Berry won at everything she tried at. For that, Quinn envied her. In Quinn's mind she was stealing what she loved most in her world. Perfection.
To Quinn, perfection wasn't something she chose. It was her life. From her perfect ponytail down to her perfectly white shoes she had achieved her favorite goal. She was no longer Lucy Caboosey.
Puck was right about her, and she hates the fact that she could ever admit it. Not more then she hates this god forsaken town though, because everyone in it decided they would give up on her. She doesn't like the way they pass her as if she wasn't important. She hates the way they have forgotten how important she really is. She was Quinn Fabray, she doesn't come last to anyone.
Even if she hates Rachel, she hates her mother more. She took the one person Quinn loved more than her perfection from her gasp, her baby girl Beth.
Beth was perfect and even if everyone thought it, Quinn never hated her. She could never hate the one thing that was just a perfect a she was.
So maybe she would never get her Cheerio uniform back, and she would never get Beth back, and no, she doesn't remember when her perfect façade ended. And really, she doesn't care, because all she ever truly wanted was it back.
Thanks for reading!
