Ever since Zoë took over the reigns for Power Cheer, even Becky had to admit that it was for the better, and that it was incredibly selfish for her to purposely exclude the sophomore to begin with. As a natural leader, the peppy brunette had the whole team eating out of the palm of her hand, and with her prior experience in tumbling she served as an excellent coach.

Plus, Zoë's decision to include boys on the team did wonders to the routines as their strength was not only a huge asset during the stunts, but the attendance of the female student body had risen considerably to support school spirit. Between Tiny's agility and Tristan's showmanship, the squad always had the crowd on their feet.

Becky scanned the bleachers and noticed the usually cool and collected Miles Hollingsworth jumping and shouting his encouragement as Frankie and Tristan were in the centre executing a complex maneuver with ease. She was glad to watch the young girl's brother being so supportive. It was unexpected to see him mouthing the tumbling terms as they were being performed, obviously showing that he knew the routine by heart.

As the group disbanded once their routine was over, Miles made a beeline to the cheerleaders. Becky was surprised when she saw him completely run past Frankie and go straight to Tristan to pick him off his feet and spin him around in a big bear hug before dipping him and planting a kiss right on the lips. He then proceeded to chatter animatedly, no doubt gushing over Tristan's superb performance.

Becky blinked a couple of times at the scene. Though she has become much more accepting of same-sex couples over the years, she never expected that Miles of all people would be dating a boy when she clearly remembered him singing an apology song in front of the whole school just to win back a girl last term.

"God, that's disgusting!" exclaimed a freshman sitting next to her with a sneer on her face, clearly commenting on Miles' public display if affection.

Becky turned and looked at her through narrow eyes.

"Welcome to Degrassi."
