Harry we know you have gone through so much,

Always leaving behind you that special touch

From the moment you first discovered platform 9 ¾ and the magical train,

We could not just walk away and refrain

With Ron and Hermione, we have seen it all,

Even cried as we watched Hogwarts fall

We grew with Dumbledore's wise words,

And saw Dobby fight even through all the sharp swords

We loved lily with her caring nature,

And adored James even with his arrogant stature

We laughed at Luna, so sweet and kind,

And smiled at Sirius, not knowing what horrible event we would soon find

But most of all we rejoiced when Voldemort failed,

Just proving good would always prevail

Oh, sweet boy who lived, you will never truly leave,

But even so, part of us will always grieve

No matter how long the days,

Just like Snape we will love you always

For we were the Harry Potter generation,

And will always be awaiting Hogwarts and our special invitation.
