It's short, it's strange...but that's me. Sorry if it's been done before (probably has) but this one is totally my idea, though Storm Hawks is property of Nerd Corps and Asaph Fipke, not me...

But anyway:

Dark Ace Gets A Good Idea

'Yes!' He thought, standing up quickly from his bunk and knocking his head on the top, 'It's perfect!'

Rubbing his head he quietly stole out of his room and down the hall.

'Why didn't I think of this before?'

Ever so slowly and quietly he crept into the Crystal Storage room, he didn't dare turn on the main light source but instead clicked the trigger on his flashlight.

'Because she's just finished it' he answered himself.

Dark Ace swished his flashlight around the room, searching. Finally he spotted it, and reached up, grabbing it. A small, green, hourglass shaped crystal. He laughed maniacally in his mind and inserted the oddly-shaped crystal into his sword. Concentrating hard he slashed his blade down and watched with satisfaction as a long tear was created in the very fabric of his reality. Eagerly he stepped through it and was immersed in a green-blue light.

He emerged from the vortex back in the first episode (I really had no other way of saying it so deal with it!). He quickly flew down on his glider to Terra Atmosia and waited. A few moments later Aerrow came crashing down, one wing of his glider broken, and landed before the large crowd gathered to watch the battle. He saw himself land and stand over their greatest nuisance (had to say it :), lowering his blade to Aerrow's neck.

"This…" the other paused dramatically, "is the part where I claim victory!"

Quickly the time-traveling Dark Ace ran out from his hiding spot and ran into the scene taking place in Terra Atmosia square, activating his blade.

"But since you're young, I'll allow you a lifetime-"

"NO!"

Everyone froze as a second Dark Ace ran into view, swinging his blade down on Aerrow.

For a bit no one moved. Then someone screamed. The first-episode-version Dark Ace blinked three times and shook his head. Before he could move however the time-jumper Ace slashed his blade at nothing, creating another swirly vortex into which he launched himself quickly.

He found himself on the floor of the crystal supply room but this time with company. Master Cyclonis stood looming over him.

"Dark Ace! What have you done?"

"Uh…" he'd been expecting praise from his master, not anger, "Bending the fabric of time to slay our greatest enemy?"

The Master slapped her forehead, "Idiot!!! You left the crystal in when you struck him didn't you? You didn't kill Aerrow, numbskull! You brought the past one here! Now there is another Sky Knight brat for the Storm Hawks!"

"Oh…"

He'd thought it was good idea.

It sucks I know...
