"Hey, Toph..." Katara whispered and sank to her knees next to where the Earthbender was lying.

"What." Toph knew what was on Katara's mind, and she wasn't in the mood. When Katara slowly brought her mouth close to Toph's neck, she tried to push her away, but Katara quickly grabbed her arm and wrestled Toph into a light pinning hold.

Ignoring the quiet cursing, Katara stroked Toph's side. "Come on, love... you want it as much as I do," the young adult purred seductively.

"Oh, sure," Toph replied sarcastically, "I really want to alert the others with the sounds of wild lovemaking."

"They won't hear us, and you know it." Katara climbed off her beloved and crossed her arms.

"I know." Toph sighed. "But you know how my Earthbending makes me feel their presence and how it kills my mood when it comes to-"

"Hey, I think I got an idea!" Katara interrupted her, making Toph frown. Katara's fits of enthusiasm usually ended in disaster. "Follow me!"

Seconds later, they were standing at the door leading to the garden behind the house. Toph frowned. "I don't feel like taking a walk. Besides, it's raining, so-"

"Exactly!" Katara grabbed Toph's hand and pulled her outside, into the rain. "What do you feel?" she asked after a few steps.

Cursing under her breath about catching a cold, Toph tried to reach out with her bending. She frowned; the countless drops of water hitting the ground made it hard for her to see anything further away. "Rain... lots of rain, drowning out pretty much everything but us. I can barely make out the house and-... Oh no, you're not saying-"

"Out of sight, out of mind..." Katara whispered and kissed Toph's neck. This time, Toph just smiled and leaned into her lover's touch.
