Comment: This is what happens when I just start writing during an awfully boring Economics lecture. The prof now thinks I'm an ace student because I "took so many notes".

"Hawkmon?" Yolei asked. "Isn't it weird that I got a male Digimon partner?"

"Hm?" Hawkmon blinked. Their guests, Kari and Gatomon, did the same. "Not really, all things considered," he finally replied.

"Are you implying that I'm acting like a guy?"

Hawkmon hesitated. Yolei's tone indicated that he was skating on thin ice. "Well, you kinda... I mean..." He gave Gatomon a pleading look, but the cat just shrugged helplessly.

"Oh? Is this about me kicking your ass at videogames?"

"Stupid opposable thumbs," Hawkmon muttered, then coughed. "I mean, of course not!"

"Or is it about me sometimes collaring Kari, letting her crawl naked through the flat, and then taking her with a strap-on until she collapses in a moaning heap?"

Gatomon's eyes almost doubled in size, Hawkmon's beak was hanging open, and Kari was blushing scarlet. Yolei just gave her partner a silly grin.

Finally, Hawkmon found his voice again. "TACT, YOLEI!" he shouted. "You got the tact of a meteor strike and LESS tact than ANY boy! How can you even think up something like this while Kari is right here?" He threw up his wings and went to the window. "I need some fresh air. And you better make up for this crazy stunt."

He was just gone when Gatomon got up and coughed. "I... uh... better keep an eye on him for... errr... anyway, you two stay here and talk, okay?" And with that, she hopped out, too.

"Well, that went well," Yolei commented and grinned.

"That's not what I meant when I dared you to tell them about us!" Kari hissed.

Yolei smirked. "Not my fault if he doesn't believe me... but since they'll be away for a while..." She reached into a drawer, took out a collar, and tossed it to Kari. "...strip."
