A/N Firstly, I don't own PJO. Now, this story is basically what could have happened if Percy and Annabeth did go to that movie that they had to miss in BotL. So anyway. READ ON
An Unknown Weight
Annabeth was waiting for him outside the school. Her hair was up in her usual pony tail, and she was wearing jeans and an orange camp Half-Blood t-shirt. Overall, she looked really good. This stirred up some feelings Percy had never felt before, but he pushed them down half-consciously.
"Hey, Seaweed brain, are you just gonna stand there all day, or are we going to go?" She asked.
Snapping out of his semi-conscious reverie, Percy jogged the rest of the way to her, and they started walking to the theater, which was about eleven blocks away. They talked about little things, and reminisced about camp. Percy didn't even realize it himself, but every couple of minutes he would glance at Annabeth, and subconsciously note how she had changed. Little things, like how she walked, swaying her hips slightly, how her eyes, which had always had a bit too much stress in them, seemed to have relaxed a bit over the year.
They arrived at the theater, got their tickets, and sat down in their seats to watch the movie. Percy didn't even know the name of it. Annabeth had said that it was supposed to have amazing architectural work on the sets, but half way through the movie, even she was bored, and to prove it put her head on Percy's shoulder and started to doze.
Percy was startled by this, but couldn't really do anything about it, so after a few minutes, he tentatively put his arm around her so that he could be more comfortable. Or so he thought.
The movie ended, and Percy gently removed his arm from Annabeth's shoulder, and tapped her to wake her up.
"Wha…? What'd I miss?" She said sleepily.
"Oh, nothing much. It was a pretty boring movie if you ask me."
They walked out of the theater, Annabeth remembering a slight weight on her shoulder that she couldn't put a place to.
Well, there it is. I'm sorry it was so short, but if it makes a difference, It took me forever to write this, and I just needed something to start the story off. Please Review. Constructive criticism. Please no flames. If you are the kind of person that just likes to point out every single flaw in a story, and then shout at the author that you hate it, please don't review.
Also, the amount of good reviews I get will be a big factor in whether I continue or not. Seriously, this chapter was really hard to right, so if you guys don't like it that much, tell me and I won't continue.
