You know what really sucks. When you have this amazing idea and you see it formulating in your mind. It's in all of this pretty detail all colorful and what not. The shapes are moving in your head fight scenes, logical conversations, statics, computer talk, all of these amazing scenes are running through your head.
You say to yourself "This just seems like the perfect story to end this age old writing block."-and then when you try to type it up…..BAM! It hits you like a ton of bricks, not those pretty red ones but the dull, dirt covered, chipped and broken ones. The pictures in your mind's eye suddenly become a bunch of non-moving, gray, dull, lifeless, non-caring of your mental state words. They become harsh and ill written, all of your carefully created work suddenly becomes callus and not as inspirational as once believed. It all becomes GIBBERISH!
A writers' worst fear, besides the plot bunnies attacking at midnight with swords held high and their battle cry fierce and scary. You find yourself once again staring at the evil little curser that flickers every other second, tears of frustration welling up in your eyes. As you try and try to write something, ANYTHING even a sappy poem would help curb this depression but alas. It is just too much to ask for.
The curser still blinks, you find yourself hypnotized by it. The dull lifelessness of the dreaded Writers Block is back. You want to pull your hair out by this point something anything! You plop your head down on the keyboard and all you get is this:
"aefsih;adfskj;dskfjasd;favnrrya;"
Let's not forget the headache that soon follows. You press the delete button. Nothing has come to mind, everything is still grey, but you have the pretty picture still in your mind, but alas you have no way of actually putting it to a word document, and pen and paper? They will never work. You find your spelling is horrendous, your penmanship is even worse.
And yet, the curser still blinks that never ending every other freaking second blink that you just wish for one second that it would just go away, and leave you be. But that stupid scene is in your head, begging to be let out.
Yeah that REALLY sucks…
