Everyone at the hospital always loved when Kitty Forman worked because they enjoyed watching her baby bump grow. They all knew this was her second pregnancy and they loved how much quicker she showed this time around. It always made Kitty laugh and she often came home from work with more stories to tell her husband about nurses and doctors rubbing her stomach for good luck. She would then go on and try to convince him to come in and see for himself because he never believed that many people would rub her baby bump. Finally he agreed. The last few weeks he had been dropping her off and picking her up for work because it was getting harder for her to drive and that day he decided he would come into the hospital and see everyone fuss over his unborn baby.

Walking through the hospital, Red made his way to the wing he knew his wife was working in. Before he could ask anyone, he noticed Kitty at the nurse's station with a set of hands on her seven-month pregnant baby bump. He recognized the woman the hands belonged to as Kitty's friend Vicky. A smirk appeared on his face as he walked over to them. When he made his way over to them, he quietly made his way behind his wife, shushed Vicky so she didn't spoil the surprise, and wrapped his arms around her waist, giving her a hug. Kitty jumped quite high, but immediately recognized Red's protective arms.

"Reginald Forman," she said, obviously not amused. "How many times have I told you not to do that? Do you want this one to come early," she added as she placed a hand on her baby bump to get her point across.

"I'm sorry, sweetheart," Red said as he laughed and kissed Kitty's head, Vicky also laughing. Kitty soon broke out into laughter as well, relaxing into Red's comforting hug. He let his hands wonder down so they where resting on her hips comfortably. She leaned some of her weight onto his chest and stomach. Being pregnant and having that extra weight could get tiresome, especially after a long shift at the hospital. Only a few seconds passed before Kitty felt the familiar flutter of a kick.

"We got a little kick," Kitty said as she looked down at her baby bump and laughed, placing her hand on her stomach and softly rubbing it. She looked up at her friend and smiled when she realized that Vicky was looking at her longingly. Vicky wanted to have kids, but she couldn't seem to get pregnant. "You can feel, sweetie," she added as she moved her hand out of the way so Vicky could put both hands on her baby bump. Vicky smiled at Kitty appreciatively and placed her hands on her stomach again. Her smile grew as she felt the kicks of the unborn Forman baby.

Watching Vicky and feeling her hands on her stomach, Kitty looked up at Red, who in turn kissed her forehead. Kitty smiled happily and the baby sensed her happiness, giving another soft kick. Vicky laughed and looked at the happy couple.

"Looks like when mamma's happy, baby is happy," she said as she moved her hands from Kitty's stomach. "You should feel, Daddy," she added. Red smiled at Vicky and moved his hands from Kitty's hips to her very pregnant stomach. He felt small kicks against the palm of his hands and his smile grew. Kitty looked up at her husband as he felt the kicks of their son against his hands. Kitty started to chuckle at his expression and he was brought out of his thoughts immediately. He gave her an embarrassed grin, but kept his hands on her stomach protectively.

"You two are adorable," Vicky said. "And you guys should get your cute butts home to that cute daughter of yours," she added. Kitty smiled at Vicky and gave her an appreciative pat on the arm.

"See you tomorrow, sweetheart," Kitty said. Vicky smiled at the other woman as she watched Kitty grab Red's hand and walk out of the hospital.
