I'm back with another Naruto drabble and this time I managed to keep it SasuSaku as planned xD.(I really don't know what exactly hit me last time.) Be kind and leave a review, as long as it isn't a flame. I 'm not offended by constructive critisism, because it will help me improve!

Disclaimer: You know I don't own Naruto...

A sweet birthday cake.

Many adults found it surprising, that Sasuke even as a 4-year-old rejected all candy, that were being given to him. Indeed, a child who doesn't like sweets is unusual. But it was a fact, that he never liked those, even as a little kid.

Later, after the tragedy, Sasuke became introverted and nobody got a chance to really get to know him, his likes and dislikes. Not even his teammates. So it wasn't Sakura's fault or attempt to make fun of him (as if she could ever try to do something like this). But on his first birthday as a part of Team 7 Sakura brought him a self-made birtday cake. For any "normal" person the cake looked delicious (Naruto was staring at it, as if he was willing to eat it all right at the moment, but Sakura did a pretty good job protecting the cake from him), however, for Sasuke the cake looked, well, sweet. And with polite :"No, than you, but I don't like sweet things" Sasuke rejected the present, made with such effort.

Naruto was happy, because he got almost the whole cake to himself, he had to give a piece to Kakashi. But Sakura was down for the rest of the day. The training had to be cancelled, much to Sasuke's disappointment, due to the fact that Naruto was so fullhe couldn't move properly and Sakura was not able to concentrate at all.

It became a tradition of Team 7, that every time on his birthday, Sakura would give him a present and a birthday cake. And every time Naruto ended up eating it.

But after he changed sides and went to Orochimaru for power of course there were no birthday presents anymore. His birthday was no special day and as on every other day there was only the training. Just as he wanted it to be before. And exactly the way he wanted to keep it now. At least that was the thought, that he tried to convince himself with.

But on his 15th birthday, as he was sitting in his chambers at Orochimaru's base, Sasuke found himself craving for a piece of sweet birthday cake.

I guess that's all... At least for now. Well this time I've got a feeling I do have a right to call that a drabble. And I hate punctuation, I was so confused where to put the commas, they are probably all wrong...
