Harsh glare of crimson against the ebony void of the night,

Instantly, the gentle breeze distorts to frigid ice,

Darkness envelops the bloodthirsty white creature of plight,

To which unknown numbers of innocent souls have befallen to -

For our wrongdoings, we must pay the price.

Behind the ivory flare of the horror stands the slender silhouette of a man,

He gazes at my petrified eyes under the veil of blackness that clings to his ominous form.

Unreadable, unmoving, showing not a shred of sympathy or warmth.

The Red Eyed Ghost, one that has spilled the blood of mortals for selfish desires,

Harbinger of death, omen of one's sure demise,

His hands have long since rusted with blood, his body decayed with the sin of murder.

Echoes of footsteps surround your frozen being,

Gradual sounds vastly outdone by the tempo of your rapidly beating heart.

Pray while thinking of rescue, pray in hope of forgiveness and salvation,

But nobody will come.

Before his monstrosity of a companion tears apart your soul and existence,

Inhumane eyes that match the shade of the tainted blood which cakes his heart,

Will follow you until your final seconds of life.

Humid breath scented with blood makes impact with your back,

At that moment, you know it's all over.

Simply giving the Red Eyed Ghost one more glance,

You notice a dim glimmer of pity in his dark red eyes.

For the very last time, you smile.
