A/N: I HAD NO CHOICE
Sam stopped short, feeling bad for eavesdropping but finding himself unable to move.
"The unrequited thing sucks. I know." Tina tells Blaine. Sam can hear the annoyance in her voice.
"But my heart can't help but feel excited that he broke up with Brittany. I know I don't really have a chance but Sam is just so…" Blaine drifted off. Sam blinked, staring at the wall, waiting for him to continue.
"Dreamy?" Tina suggested and they both giggled.
Sam cocked his head to the side. After the week he had—Brittany dumping him for being too dumb for her, the college quest—he was definitely interested by their conversation.
Sam was impulsive. It wasn't that he wanted to not think and make stupid choices, but he went with what he felt in his gut. He liked being impulsive. He proposed to Quinn after dating for like a week, for Christ's sake. He felt strongly and he went with it.
So he pulled down on the hem of his shirt and marched into the choir room. He saw Blaine's face visibly pale at the sight of him and Tina looked as if she was going to burst.
"Blaine," Sam started carefully, "would you like to go out on a date with me?" Blaine stood there motionless, his mouth agape. Sam blinked. "Blaine?"
"Y-yeah. Yes. Of course." He stammered.
"Cool. I'll pick you up tonight at six.".
"Okay." Blaine breathed, his cheeks filling in with a pink hue. Sam sent him a warm smile before turning back to the hallway, Blaine's eyes following him all the way out.
"Goddammit," Tina whispers to herself, Blaine completely oblivious.
