Ulumuri

by The Last Evenstar

A/N: I was bored during English class, so I decided to write a poem. If one person reads this and enjoys it, it'll be happy.

Forget the woods, forget the land,

Forget the place that you called home.

Born and bred by Manwe's hand,

You'll now return; no longer roam.

Sweet seductress, golden voice!

It cries out, singing "Come to me."

Hear the white gulls and rejoice!

Then close your eyes and feel the sea.

Tempting melody so sweet,

Rhythms interweaving there,

Follow the song, it guides your feet,

You're home now; nothing left to fear.

Ai, Elbereth! Gilthoniel!

Hear now the song, feel now the spell.
