In light of everything that's happened, what we've lost, what the world has lost, I thought it right to just say that I never really liked Severus Snape. He just didn't seem like the "hero" or the "villain" to me. He couldn't be sorted into one box. He had his virtues and he had his vices. But that could never deter me from saying that Alan Rickman was one of my favourite actors. From his portrayal of Marc Antony, to the cunning Hans Gruber, to the Sheriff of Nottingham, to our very own Professor Severus Snape, he will remain immortal in the industry, in the culture, and in our hearts forever more. Rest In Peace Alan Rickman.
I wasn't cold, nor hot.
I couldn't feel or smell.
I was just here.
Lying on the stone of the boathouse.
Oh yes, I was in pain, there was not denying that.
Poison coursed through my entire body and I fought long and hard to keep it at bay.
"Someone has to tell Harry" Dumbledore's voice echoed through my head.
And so I clung on to life.
Letting go was not an option. I had to wait.
"Wait for the boy," my voice said. "Wait for Harry."
And then he came. He bent down, and his green eyes met mine. He took from me what I knew he needed. And before I could slip from the fingers of life, I whispered;
"You have your mother's eyes."
Sleep and tiredness took over my body. And my eyes saw no more.
