a/n: Here's a little oneshot I found in a notebook from school and I had totally forgotten about it! I hope you enjoy, leave a review if you do/have any remarks!

"All right guys, I have the perfect idea for the costumes for Nationals. They need to be red, because 1: We'll stand out and 2: it matches my skin tone and hair color perfectly. And let's be real: I'm the biggest talent in this group so everyone needs to adapt to me. And we're doing a petticoat and halter straps, and-" "I'm sorry to interrupt you, Rachel, but I'm not sure if I'm down with this idea." "Oh, I'm sorry Tina, I know red isn't the most complimentary color for your yellow skin but this is my last chance to shine, so you'll need to make an offer." "It's not the color, it's the straps. Can't we do something with, like, sleeves? Long sleeves?" "I'm sorry Tina but this year it's all about making me shine because I'm the biggest star in this group and I need to convince Carmen Tibideaux to get me into NYADA, remember? And I can't perform at my best if my beautiful arms are covered in sleeves and I can't lift my arm when I want to without being scared that I rip them! Why do you want sleeves anyway?!" There was a silence. Tina sighed and lifted her arm. She pulled up her sleeve and said: "Because of this." Her arm was covered in cuts, some were fresh, some were nothing more than a thin scar. Everyone in the room gasped, including Rachel. Tina wiped away a tear while running out of the room. "Good job, Rachel" Mike said reproachfully while running after Tina. He saw her running into the girls bathroom and didn't hesitate to go after her. When he stood in front of the closed door of her stall he heard her sob while she grabbed something out of her bag. "Tina, stop! Please don't!" he said, raising his voice. "I know what you are going to do, but I beg you, don't do it!" There was a short silence. "Why shouldn't I?" she sobbed. "I'm not good enough for this world, I'm meant to suffer!" "No, you aren't Tina! If you'd ask me, I'd say you are the best human being in this world." "Why would you say something like that?" she asked, a bit startled. "Because… I love you" his voice cracked a bit. Tina finally opened the door. Her eyes were red and tearstained, she was still holding her knife, but her skin was untouched. "Really?" she asked with a weak voice. "Yes, really." He said with a little smile. "So please put your knife down and come here."
