Becky Botsford-Boxleitner held her daughter Amy's hand as they walked through the toy store.

"Now, what do you think Marcus would like, sweetie?" Becky asked tenderly. Amy appeared to think about it.

"Cars" the seven-year-old responded. Becky laughed.

Once the mother-daughter pair found a racecar that they believed to be suitable, they paid for it up front and went to the ajoining cafe to wait for Steven and Marcus.

After a while, while Amy was busy drawing with some crayons that Becky brought, a hooded figure approached.

"Hello, Becky" the figure said, making said woman nearly jump out of her skin.

"Uh, hello? Do I know you, or-" Becky cut herself off as she remembered.

There was one time, about ten years ago, when she and Lucy, her best friend, were heading to work when they met a hooded figure, who said something about blooming roses...

"I am that same being" the figure told her, making Becky jump again. The figure pulled back its hood, to reveal an adult woman about two years younger than herself.

The woman had short blonde hair with brown highlights, and green eyes. Becky stared at her for a moment.

"My name is Kassandra, and I am here to warn you" the woman said. Becky's eyes went wide.

"Warn me about what..." she whispered, frightened. Kassandra smiled softly.

"Well, I am not allowed to tell you exactly what I'm warning you of... But I can say that it may damage your marriage, if you do not act properly" the blonde explained. Becky's eyes went wide, but before she could ask what that meant, Kassandra left, and disappeared into the crowd.

Becky was a bit shaken up. Amy was still coloring, so obviously she hadn't noticed what just happened.

Soon, Steven and Marcus came over, and Becky had to put on a happy facade to keep her husband from worrying.

It didn't work.

"Becky, are you alright?" Steven inquired as he set the shopping bag on the table.

"Yeah... Sure, I'm fine..." Becky responded, but she could tell that Steven didn't believe her. However her husband kept quiet, which she was incredibly thankful for.
