She was beautiful, from the inside out. The most considerate and sweet person he'sever met. Her classic pigtails always glistened in the sun the same way her generosity always shone through. Lost in a daydream, the girl has so many precious qualities that he fell hard for. There was only one problem with her...

Marinette had feelings for another boy. A certain tall, blonde, handsome model. Sighing, dragging out his sketchbook and pencils. Hand relaying over the paper. He could see why Marinette could fall for a guy like that. Her only equal in kindness, and despite all his restrictions in life, he still always tried to be a pillar for people. Yet, the boy seemed to be blind to her unwavering admiration! The fool was to short sited to see the beautiful treasure sitting there all alone, just waiting to be noticed by him.

Sketching faster, furiously. His mind wandered, his hand in full control of the pencil. Thoughts of Marinette continued to flood his mind. Her sincere smile, calm demeanor, her incredibly creative mind and meticulous work ethic most could almost seemed to perfect, the designer and the model. Why couldn't the designer give the artist a chance? They were so much alike, the desire to please people, the imagination. Maybe he was just not good enough.

Hand intensifying, flying around the page. Near completion, tossing his high end copics in preparation to the onslaught of color about to perform. As upset as he was that Adrien captured Marinette's heart, he still couldn't hate the guy. His genuine personality was refreshing among the fake sea of people. He was always so sweet towards her, encouraging her, making her feel better. Nathan knew he could, he would be just as sweet towards her. But if it couldn't be him, then it must be Adrien. As much as it hurt him to admit, she deserved someone like him. Swiftly adding the last few strokes to his creation.

Popping off a marker top, stroking the ink down with an artist's precision. Maybe it was time he moved on. He didn't want to, he wanted to hold on that he might have hope! Chasing a dream that was to remain as is. Sticking his cap on with another loud clack! Revealing the tip of a new color, applying it freely to his work.

What hope did he have to find someone else as sweet and talented as Marinette? Maybe he was doomed to be alone. After all, he was already the loner of the school. But who could blame them, the misunderstood artist usually had a select couple of friends at best right? Great, lost in love and falling into stereotypical roles. Sighing loudly to himself, eyes widening as he put full attention to his piece. It wasn't a perfect representation of Marinette. Instead what laid before him was a soft. Pink. Rose flower.

All right, so I know that was probably pretty awful haha

but I kinda wanted to throw something together for Valentines day (somehow, I blame my sis... I really do. She told me it doesn't count if it's not on, or the day before Valentines day...)

I always forget something I wanted to say in these author's notes too... but oh well, Happy Valentines day!
