[Future Color Pretty Cure – PROLOUGE ]
"Well, it's as simple as that then."
A girl stood up from her kneeled position and turned to face the group of officials behind her group. Her deep red shoulder-length locks fell neatly into their curls as did the many ribbons that connected around her arms.
A man carrying what seemed like an awfully large stack of papers gulped and tried to protest. She merely smiled.
"Don't worry." She glanced around, all of the others in similar outfits to hers gave nods, one a thumbs up. "We didn't become Precure for no reason."
Turning gracefully on her heels, she braced herself and took a large jump, catapulting herself higher than an average person aught to be able to. The others around her soon followed.
[ 1 ½ years earlier – Undefined Location ]
Deep into the light, a lone figure floated somewhat aimlessly among the colorful streams of data. Her hair was done up in a nice bun and white heels pointed together. In her hands was a beautiful staff, which supported a swirling clear ball with who knows what inside.
All might have seemed well in the white world, but all was not. Her eyes were tight with fierce concentration. Something seemed to be trying to adjust the way her world was made. Something sinister, and hidden in the shadows she couldn't see.
Delving deep into what she knew, she looked for the cause, and any possible way she could remedy it.
Soon, the attacks became more ferocious, causing her heart to panic a little. The white light surrounding her seemed to falter a bit, disappearing the way light does as a light is turned off.
There was one way to stop the downward spiral things were on.
Opening her eyes, her lips tried to curl up like nothing had happened, or was going to, but both instantly fell.
The white light that had once seemed so comforting now was nowhere to be found, except for an intangible tiny glimmer in the distance. The hope that the few carried for tomorrow.
Her mind now set, she swung her silver staff forward till it was in front of her. Pulling out the palm-sized crystal, her eyes closed once again, trying to find the last piece of hope she held.
Seven small glimmers formed around her, each a different color of the rainbow.
Just as soon as they had materialized, they were gone again, but no longer were in the now less vibrant crystal in front of her.
A small smile graced her lips, and the non-existent light with its now neon-colored data streams surrounded her once again.
[Thank you for reading! Just a really short prolouge here to introduce an important part of the story.
For anyone wondering, the rest of the story will probably not be written in 3rd person omniscient like this again.
