Emerald irises had swept over a diverse group. The rosette had yawned, given it was quite early in the morning. She smiled, watching her friends sleep like children in her living room. If they had been awake, the would've seen her serene expression. Nimble fingers draped over a slightly scarred tan face. She traced over the whisker-like scars, grinning when she heard a slight purr. She looked over at another man, his pale skin glistening in the dull moonlight. His black hair still defying gravity even though it was pressed up against a pillow.
A sigh of content escaped her lips, as she looked around the room, eyes catching on to some interesting hairstyles and strange tattoos. Laying gracefully upon her couch was a beautiful man. His long hair wrapped in a bun. His usually hard and stoic face seemed calm, even peaceful.
Underneath her table, a young man with quite an unusual hairstyle was sleeping soundly. A smirk graced her lips. That man can sleep anywhere, can't he? The young woman joked to herself, walking over to a chair and placing her bottom on it. Her eyes shined brightly watching her boys. She nearly squealed when she saw Kiba cuddling his adorable dog. She could stay like this forever...
In the middle of her thinking, Sakura felt that familiar tickle in her nose. Her eye widened, hoping this would be a false alarm. Unfortunately for her, it was allergy season, and a powerful sneeze echoed throughout her home. Sheepishly scratching the back of her neck, she inwardly prayed that no one heard that.
After a while of no one stirring in their sleep, she deemed it safe to keep observing her comrades. That is, until she heard a husky voice.
"You do know it's rude to watch people in their sleep, right, Sakura-san?" It was more of a statement than a question. A few moans of agreement signaled that they were all awake, and aware of her staring.
Her face resembled her hair, playing with her fingers, she muttered out a apology. What she got in return were tired grins and a invitation to sleep between Naruto and Sasuke. With a smile and a blush, she took up their offer.
Drifting into sleep, she thought only one thing.
I love my boys..
There you have it guys, a random one shot written at 3:00 in the morning.
