Prologue
The burning sun shone brightly on my face as I lie on the dewy grass.
It had been a few months since we broke up. He had always been either drunk or high. He would always nag me go to a party with him. Of course, being me, I didn't have the time for that. I was too busy. I would always tell him that now is not the time. It was always like that. But still, it was peacefully normal, unlike now.
I got up slowly, savoring the quietness on the hill.
Oh no, now everything was all hectic, right and left, I had no idea what was going on anymore. I just wanted some information about where I am and what the heck is going on around here. After following something so stupid! Something was definitely wrong with me.
I noticed something shining on the other side of the fence, where the forest starts.
Nope not me, I just don't know when to just leave something alone! I swear... curiosity really did kill the cat! I mean, there's a fence there for a reason. There are signs there for a reason. There. Are. Rules. For. A. Reason.
I walked over to the fence and climbed over. There was something gold on the floor.
Just kill me now. It will save everyone here the trouble. Honestly. Why did this happen to me? Why is it still going on? I just don't know anything anymore! It's like God just decided to hand over the contract for my future for the chance to play a wicked game. Because this… is a wicked game.
I gently picked it up. Admiring it's beauty, it shined brighter as my curiosity grew even greater.
Oh boy, I'm in for a rough day.
