"Stop crying already." A ten year old Craig said as he rolled his eyes while his best friend continued to sob uncontrollably. The two of them were at the school playground, spending their break on the swings.
"B-b-b-but…" Clyde sobbed, wiping his tears away with his sleeve. "I'm so… so…"
"If the teacher finds you crying, I'llget in trouble." The raventte sighed which got his friend to lessen his crying though his soft sobs were still audible. Silence followed soon after.
"I'm just so happy." Clyde sniffed, still sobbing. "No one has ever… called me… their bestfriendbefore."
"Not even Token?"
"No." Clyde shook his head. "I've been wondering if I'm actually anyone's best friend. I mean, I hang out and play with a lot of kids but not one of them ever considered me as their best friend. I was beginning to worry that I'm actually not a good friend. And I thought that Tweek was your best friend…"
"Well…" Craig rubbed the back of his neck. "…I thought Token was your best friend so I thought I was going to receive a negative reaction from you when I called you my best friend but-"
"Thank you!" Clyde once again cried as he immediately stood up from his swing and hugged Craig tightly which caused the raven-haired boy to lose his balance and fall backwards with the crying brunette. Despite their fall, Clyde still continued to cry and didn't dare to let go.
"D-Dude." Craig stammered, getting a little awkward as heat rised up his cheeks. "Don't cry, man. You're going to make your best friend cry too." After a short moment, Clyde finally calmed down and sat up, smiling brightly. Craig sat up and just chuckled, messing the brunette's hair.
