October was her favourite time of the year. She absolutley loved Autumn. Every new day of Autumn brought another exciting adventure, and she loved to be spontaneous. It was even a bit unusual that she loved Autumn so much. People always imagined her as the Summer type. And she did loved Summer. She loved all seasons. She appreciated Mother nature and enjoyed every season as it deserved. But she always had Autumn on her mind, she was always looking forward to it, she always missed it.
Her mother was born in October. Her heart used to melt when she saw her mother's smile after breakfest which she prepared. Mother and daughter would always spent that day together. They didn't go out, they sipped hot cocoa and enjoyed Liz's favourite cookies. They'd spend the day talking and laughing and both could hardly wait for the next year. She missed her mother a lot. More than she wanted to admit to herself. After all, she was a girl, her mother was one of the most important persons in her life.
October was her favourite time of the year. It remined her of her mother.
One of the few rare memories of her childhood (that she actually remembered), were about Elena and Bonnie. They were inseparable. If one of them wasn't invited to a birthday party, the other two refused to go. If one was sick, the other two would bring in her homework and then they would play until it was time to go home. If one cried, all were crying. When one laughed, all were happy. They were each others best friends, sisters, soulmates.
It was Autumn when they met. They were just babies. October was her favourite time of the year. It remined her of real friendship.
As a little girl she always wanted a big brother. When she turned, she found him in Stefan. He was the older brother she always dreamed of. Patient, caring and overprotective. She spent countless centuries in his company and she never got bored of him. Every day was different. She knew all Stefan's virtues and really loved each. He didn't had flaws and even if one or two appeard from time to time, she never noticed. He was the person she loved a lot. She lost him forever at the beginning of the fall.
She disliked September. October was her favourite time of the year. It reminded her of unconditional love.
She never thought about her death. She just wasn't that type of a person. She was always cheerful and always smiling. She saw good in everybody and she thought everyone deserves a second chance. It was Spring when she decided to give him a second chance. It was love like no other. He was always sarcastic, witty and just hard to keep up with. But he understood her like no one did. Most of the time she loved his bittersweet jokes. She always loved when he kissed her. For him, she was always too demanding, always too happy. But he loved her. She was the most beautiful person in the world when she smiled. He often said it without hesitation. He would make jokes just to see her smile. Then, he would laugh too. They were good together. Never perfect. But always smiling.
She found love in March. She lost love in August.
She died in October. She wanted to wish her mother a happy birthday. She wanted to go trick or treating with her soulmates. She wanted a hug from her big brother.
She wanted to laugh with her love. October was her favourite time of the year.
