Tribute to my bestest friend Tsunami :)

Hope you likey.

A tall slim girl sat upon the sea's edge, her long dark brown hair falling down her back, tangling in slight curls at the ends. Her eyes were closed against the wind, her face turned up slightly to feel the warm sun.

'Tsehai.'

The young teen started, being brought of her daydreams. Brown eyes glanced back towards the rocks scattered around the boats. He wasn't there...

She frowned, the look unwelcome on her soft features. A small sigh left her lips and she closed her eyes again letting the sun warm her slightly browning skin.

'Tsehai...'

This time she didn't react to the calling of her name. She tried to think about school, about her friends, about anything... but one thing, one person, one name plagued her mind.

Deep sea blue, like the glittering water in front of her. That was the amazing colour of his eyes. Tsehai let a slight smile play on her lips as she remembered his spikey blonde hair, the way he would bring up his right hand, always his right, to sweep it out of those brilliant blue eyes.

It was like a stab in the heart. A single crystal tear found Tsehai's eye. She swept it away as fast as it had come. He was gone. These constant trips to the beach, to... their place were for nothing. But Tsehai could not shake away the memories of her promise.

'Tsehai. I promise I shall return for you.'

Strong arms held her waist loosely as her head lay resting on his chest, tears soaking his shirt. Her hands had the back of his shirt in tight fists, slim fingers digging into his back.

'Hey.'

Pressing slightly against her shoulders Roxas turned his eyes towards hers. He glanced at her lips briefly, wanting to kiss her, to assure her everything was going to be okay. Instead he leant his forehead against her own.

'Can you wait for me?'

His voice was soft and unsure. Tsehai clenched her eyes shut, her slim hands resting against his chest. She nodded slightly. That was all the blonde needed. He bent forward, kissing her lips briefly before pulling away and walking towards his boat. He only gave her one wave before turning away towards the setting sun so that she could not see the tears stinging at his eyes.

She watched the boat floating away until it was but a mere dot.

'I love you...' She whispered.

It was more than she could take. Falling to her knees she wept.

And here she was. It had been three years. She was still waiting for the lost love she once had. She did not cry. He would return. He had to. He had promised.

The sun was gone, hidden below the large sea. Sighing to herself Tsehai climbed to her feet. She would return tomorrow. As always.

She had barely gone 2 metres before she paused. She did not know what had possessed her to stop. But strong arms encircled her waist and a warm, familiar chest pressed against her back.

"I love you too..."

The voice was soft, deep and comforting. Tsehai gave a cry of recognition and turned to face him. Her entire face lit up in a beautiful smile. Her arms flew around his neck and her lips met his fiercely. When she pulled away she grinned.

"Roxas... you came back."

"How could I leave one so gorgeous as you behind."

Tsehai's face burned slightly, her cheeks tinting a pale pink. Burying her face into his chest she whispered;

"I missed you..."

"I missed you too... Lets just go home."

His hand found hers and she walked away, home with the only boy who had ever held her undying love.
