If I were a raindrop,
Would you be my thunderstorm?
Antonio was awake, but he knew he couldn't be. This had to be a dream. There was a face right next to his, a beautiful, peaceful face topped by a light brown fringe and wayward curl.
But what would Lovi be doing in his bed?
Antonio sat up and stretched, glancing out his window and noticing the remnants of raindrops that covered it. Had it rained last night? Had Lovino been cold, so had come to sleep with him? No, that would never happen. Lovi-chan would never do that, he was always too bashful... Well, the Spaniard wouldn't know, he was such a heavy sleeper.
With a final yawn, Toni climbed out of bed and looked again at the extra face resting on his pillow. A flutter of a heartbeat flew up into his throat and a sudden urge to kiss the sleeping boy overtook him, so strong that he almost choked on it. He leaned down and cupped the face in his hands, going even closer... feeling Lovino's breath on his lips... his hair mixing with the other's...
And then his little Lovi woke up.
"WHAT THE H*** B******, WHAT THE F*** DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" he yelled, scrambling away from Toni and falling off the other side of the bed. The older man stood up quickly and scrambled over to his little tomato, checking to see if he was all right.
"Are you okay, Lovi? I'm sorry if I surprised you, really, I don't know-"
Lovino shut him up with a glare and a quick kiss on the cheek. "Yes you surprised me, Tomato B******." he mumbled, straightening up from off the floor and cracking his back. "Just... don't do that again."
Antonio beamed and hugged his Lovi-chan. "Gracias, Lovi! Te amo!" he exclaimed, squeezing the poor Italian to death. He let go and stared at Lovi, his usual smile a bit wilted. "But what were you doing in my bed?"
Lovino blushed furiously. "I- I- There was a thunderstorm last night, okay? I just didn't want to... be by myself! Is there something wrong with that, B******?"
Antonio laughed. "You're afraid of thunder? Aw, that's cute, Lovi-chan~!"
The other punched him in the arm. "Jerk, don't try to use that to your advantage!" he scowled, his hand dropping back to his side. "And don't call me Lovi-chan!"
The Spaniard just laughed again and leaned in for a kiss. After they broke apart, Toni grinned, as usual, and grabbed Lovi's hand. "Let's have breakfast, shall we?" he beamed, dragging the younger one downstairs with him. He was happier than normal today.
Maybe there would be more thunderstorms soon.
A/N: Hey guys! A suuuuper short one-shot I constructed in the middle of the night while listening to the Owl City song, Butterfly Wings. It's an adorable song, go listen to it. Please. Anyway, review what you think! All feedback is welcome! ^^
