AN: I don't normally write one-shots but I got inspired and wanted to write a story where Draco was punished for his crimes, just not in a typical way. (I know, same as every dramione story out there.) I love the idea of Draco taking on some of Hermione's looks and Hermione taking on some of Draco's looks, that's actually the inspiration for another story that I haven't published yet but that isn't what you came here to read. So enjoy the short sex scene and the lovey dovey fluff.
The bar was loud and dark at this time on a Friday night. There was some band playing in the corner and patrons were shouting and singing along to the songs. I sat at the bar, nursing my first whiskey of the night. I was sitting and reminiscing about her. I knew I should be over her. It was just a school crush but somehow, even years later, I thought it was more. We had seen each other in secret, not in a relationship sense, just as two people getting to know each other. We both had feelings for each other by the end of school, well, a few years before school ended. My failing never faded but I would bet my family's fortune that her feelings dissolved. I doubt she even thought of me now. I wish I could stop thinking of her. I hadn't looked at another girl in years because I thought I would be betraying her. She was probably happy with her fiancé and career and never thought twice about an outcast like me.
I took another sip to soothe my mind and a blonde sat next to me at the bar.
"Vodka martini please, extra dry." She said to the bartender. I glanced at her before going back to my drink. She had an excellent body, curves in all the right places. She was wearing a modest business outfit, like she had just come from work or something. She reminded me of… no, I wouldn't think of her. This girl was not the same person. I glanced over when her drink arrived and saw she was looking at me.
"Can I help you?" I sneered at her.
"Possibly, can I get you another drink?" I looked at my glass and saw it was almost empty. I frowned but nodded at her. She called out to the bartender again. I gave her another look over. She had straight platinum blonde hair and beautiful grey eyes. Her face had some sharp points too. Her body seemed to not fit with her face, she was tan and full. I could tell she had decent sized breasts and hips even though they were covered by a blazer.
"You come straight from work?" I asked.
"No, I went home and got into a fight with my roommate, didn't get a chance to change. He's a right prick." She took a long drink and didn't even wince.
"I'm happy I don't have a roommate. Though I doubt anyone would want to live with me."
"What, brooding and resentful doesn't attract people?" She laughed. I gave her a small smile at that one.
"No, it really doesn't. Though it doesn't seem to be putting you off."
"I tend to like brooding and resentful. They tend to go well with sexy and good in bed." I was sipping my drink when she said that. I nearly spit it out. I looked over at her and saw her eyes had grown darker. She placed a hand on my lower thigh and rubbed her thumb in circles. It was getting difficult to hold onto my rule of not betraying my old crush. This girl reminded me too much of her. And honestly, it wouldn't be a betrayal. I was not in a relationship and never had been.
"What's your name?" She looked up at me through her dark eyelashes.
"Derrick, and yours?" She bit her lip and looked away for a moment.
"Umm… Lily."
"Well, so your name isn't Lily. If you don't want to tell me, you don't have to."
"Sorry, Derrick, I just don't give my name out to strangers." I raised an eyebrow at her. I looked at her closer and shifted my head a little. Damn, this witch was good. You could barely tell that she had a glamour on her face, the tell tale shimmer was only visible if you knew exactly what to look for and really searched hard. So this girl didn't want to be known. That didn't bother me. I didn't exactly look like my old self with my short dark hair and auburn eyes. I was also a little shorter than I used to be. I noticed her hand was still on my thigh and she was nearly done with her drink. I was going to break my rule for this girl, I was going to hate myself in the morning but I was so frustrated and tired that I was going to give in.
"I know I just met you but I feel like we have a connection, don't you?" She said, leaning toward me. She even smelled like my past love, like mint and parchment with a hint of something floral.
"Not really, but we could be connected." I smirked over at her before placing my hand on hers.
"It's too loud here. Do you think we could go somewhere quieter?"
"Where do you have in mind?"
"What about your place?" I pulled out my wallet and set down enough money to cover both of our drinks even though she had offered. I stood and held out my hand for her to take. Luckily my flat was just down the street.
"It isn't far, just that building there." I pointed and she swallowed. She looked nervous, which was odd. I guess this was the first time she had ever picked a guy up at a bar. Hopefully I could calm her down when we got to my flat. We didn't speak on the rest of the trip. We got to my door and I fumbled with my keys for a minute. "I hate these things."
"Pardon?"
"Nothing." I opened the door and let her in.
"Wow, you sure know how to decorate." She looked around at the artwork on the walls and the bookcase filled with my favorite classics as well as some of my old textbooks that I had slipped covers on to hide the titles. There was a couch and a recliner by the fireplace and thick green curtains over the window. "Your selection of books is rather interesting."
"Thank you. If you wouldn't mind, I need to tidy up the bedroom, I wasn't exactly expecting company." She turned around and took a few steps over to me. She put her hands on the buttons of my shirt.
"Actually, I do mind." She reached her left hand up and ran it through my dark hair before bringing my face to hers. She kissed me deep and hard. I had only ever been kissed like this once before. Stop it, I don't get to feel guilty about this tonight. "Why don't you take me to the bedroom and then I'll remove these pesky clothes?" She whispered in my ear. I lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around my waist. I was slowly hardening, this girl's body felt perfect in my hands. I kicked open the door to my bedroom and brought her to my king sized bed.
"You sure like the color green." She smirked up at me when she noticed my bedspread. "You're going to love what's under my clothing then." I made quick work of her suit and blouse. Sure enough, she had a matching set of emerald silk bra and knickers. I could see her hard nipples through the thin material and brought my hand up to it to tease her. She moaned softly. She then reached down toward my belt. She quickly loosened it while I took my shirt off. Once that was removed she paused and stared at my arm.
"Nice tattoo." I looked down and saw her looking at the black dragon I had gotten to cover up my old tattoo. I had another tattoo on my right calf done by the same artist in a similar style. "The artist who drew that must be top of the line."
"He is. Now, let's get back to the task at hand." Not Lily looked back at me and smiled.
"Good, cause I want to see if you are able to do magic with that wand of yours." I stopped and raised my eyebrows and burst out laughing.
"That was really bad. Did you learn that from a witch?"
"Nope, thought of that one all on my own." I chuckled and looked at her closely. I could almost imagine it was my crush and not this blonde laying beneath me.
"By the way, your glamour charm is one of the best I've ever seen." The girls eyes got wide, "don't worry, I don't know who you actually are. And I won't be insulted if you want to leave it on." The girl sighed before pulling me down into a kiss.
I worked down her jaw and kissed her neck, working on various spots to find her weakness. I lowered my hand to her essence and felt her wetness. I grew instantly harder at that. It wasn't long before my pants were off and I was inside of her. She was moaning and digging her nails into my back. Her bra was unclipped but still around her arms. I nibbled and sucked on her nipples every so often to shock her. She was moaning and clenched tight around me. I adjusted myself until she was begging me to go faster. I was nearly at my end and she was clenched so tight that I was surprised she hadn't finished yet.
"Oh fuck, Draco, yes, Draco." She arched her back and her walls tightened even more. I wasn't sure if it was her tightening or hearing my real name that sent me over the edge but I spilled into her shortly after. We were both panting afterwards. I slowly pulled out and rolled over next to her.
"I am so sorry." She whispered.
"Why?" I closed my eyes when I said it.
"I said another man's name."
"I honestly don't mind." She looked over at me with confusion in her eyes.
"Do you want to know why I hooked up with you?"
"I guess?"
"I broke up with my fiancée tonight because I fell in love with another man years ago and haven't gotten over him. You reminded me of the man I once loved."
I nodded. "Sleep, you look exhausted." I kissed her forehead before rolling over and resting a hand on her stomach. I fell asleep quickly and felt like I woke up an instant later. Not Lily was tight against my body, her bottom pushed against my erection. I opened my eyes and could tell she was awake, her breathing wasn't slow and she continued to shift subtly in my arms. I took a deep breath and could smell her hair. She really did smell of mint and something floral, my favorite combination.
"Mmmm, did you sleep well?" I asked quietly.
"I noticed your other tattoo." She said in a steady voice, though I could tell she was hesitant. "Is Derrick your real name?"
"Honestly? No, it isn't, but I can't tell you my real name." I tried looking at her face even though she was rolled away from me.
"Don't bother, I already figured it out. I should have known the instant I saw your dragon tattoo."
"It obviously didn't scare you off though."
"I called out your name during sex. You honestly think I could be scared off?" Everything was quiet for a while after that. I didn't know what to say to her. "Have you figured out who I am?"
"No, I've been trying not to. I had a moment of weakness last night when I said you could come back to my flat. You're the first girl I've slept with in years. When I wake up after a few more hours of sleep, I'm going to feel incredibly guilty for sleeping with you because I feel like I'm betraying the one girl who I ever cared about. Can you see why I don't want to figure out who you are?" The blonde nodded. There was a new wildness to her hair now that struck me as odd.
"You dreamt of me, said my name in your sleep. You also said you missed me." The blonde said with a smile.
"I don't remember dreaming." I frowned.
"I thought I had lost you. It was hell watching you during your last year of school. I thought I had truly lost you to your father."
"Okay, now I know you aren't Pansy."
"You insult me." She snuggled closer to me. As I listened to her next words I looked closer at the witch lying next to me and noticed that she had taken the glamour off. "You still have my books. I was surprised when I saw your bookshelf. I thought it was a coincidence that you would own the few books that I couldn't find. And then I saw the otter on your calf and I got confused. It wasn't until you said my name that I really thought about it." My eyes got wide and I rolled Hermione on her back before I got on top of her. I started kissing her relentlessly. And then it clicked. Hermione was supposed to be engaged. I froze and groaned before rolling off of her.
"What?"
"You just cheated on your fiancé with me."
"Ex-fiance. I threw the ring at him last night." I looked at her.
"What happened?"
"I finally admitted to myself that I wouldn't be happy with him because I was in love with someone else. And Ron, well… he… he wasn't you."
"Why didn't you sneak out once you figured out it was me? We weren't exactly friendly over the last few years. And you know I've been exiled from society, given a new identity and everything."
She smiled over at me. "Did you not catch the part where I said I was in love with you?"
