I own nothing.
A sunrise always reminded Lindsay of Danny. How everything with him was new, even if she'd done it before. Just doing things with him made them seem new and exciting. She guessed it was just the way he was.
The beauty of a sunrise always reminded Danny of Lindsay. How beautiful and angelic she looked sleeping, or working in the lab, or at a crime scene -whenever. Everything about her was beautiful to him - her hair, her eyes – everything. Just like a sunrise.
Danny's presence always calmed Lindsay down. Just by being near him, she was calmed. She didn't know what it was about him, since he wasn't a calm person all the time, but he calmed her. If she was interrogating someone and started to get frustrated or angry, he would move closer to her, to calm her down. He knew that he could calm her down just by being a couple feet away.
Lindsay seemed delicate to Danny at times. At the trial, he felt like he could've easily broken her just by touching her. Other times he seemed to be the delicate one, like when he had been tortured by the Irish mob. He had thought that he was going to fall apart when he saw her. A sunrise too, seemed like it would break if he could ever reach it.
Danny and Lindsay both thought that sunrises were peaceful. They loved to just stop and watch them if they had the time. They could sit and stare at them until they sun was fully risen, just enjoying the beauty of the sunrise. Nothing was moving, nobody was awake, there were no sounds interrupting their life. There was just the sunrise, lighting up the sky. It seemed like they were just there for them some days.
Sunrises seemed dreamlike at times. They were unreal. When Danny was around Lindsay, he felt like he was dreaming. He never wanted to see if itwas a dream, because he didn't want to have to wake up. Being with Lindsay was like being in heaven to him. Lindsay had tried several times to see if she would wake up when she had first met Danny. As dreamlike as it was for her now, it used to seem almost like a nightmare. After a while though, she had just let the dream continue, and she too never wanted to wake up anymore. Danny was like her heaven. The fact that she was with Danny seemed unreal. To her and everyone else around her.
Flack had always thought that Danny and Lindsay had seemed so much brighter when they were together. They were always happier and smiling. It was almost annoying. They were bright. Just like a sunrise.
