He didn't think it would end like this, but he should've. Sat on the couch, curled into a ball, was Matthew Williams, holding a box of tissues in one hand and a carton of maple syrup covered ice cream in the other. Sitting next to him was his brother, America, AKA Alfred Jones. On the TV some comedy was playing and his brother had a half-murderous half-sympathetic look on his face as he sat hugging Matthew. But regardless of his brother's attempts to cheer him up, the memory still flashed across Matthew's mind.

Matthew went to go talk to Gilbert, his boyfriend of one month, and was not surprised to find him talking with his friends, Antonio and Francis. He was, however, surprised to hear the words coming out of the Prussian's mouth.

"We all know the awesome me will win the bet! Why don't you both just give up now?"

"Well, mi amigo, have you and him made love yet? No, so the bet is still going and soon I'll be the winner."

"Besides Gilbert, Matthew is so innocent, I doubt he'll give in to someone he's only been dating for a month. Angleterre, however, is such a rebel I doubt he'll hold back from moi!"

"A bet?" came an angry voice from around the corner of the hallway. The voice came from none other than Arthur Kirkland, the personification of England and the one France has had his sights on for over a month.

"Are you kidding me, bastard?" Came another, this time from behind Canada. He turned to see Lovino, who had been dating Spain for just over a week. He held a cup of coffee in each hand, one of which he poured over his boyfriend's hand before marching away. Arthur scoffed and walked from the way Matthew had come, making a point to elbow the Frenchman in the stomach as he walked past. The Bad Touch Trio were frozen in place, Francis and Antonio staring in the direction their respective lovers had gone. But Gilbert was staring right at Matthew, his eyes filled with shock and regret.

"Birdie..." he began, reaching towards him. As he took a step towards his boyfriend, Canada stepped back. Tears began to flood his eyes and he quickly looked down in order to mask the pain that clenched at his chest. Shaking his head, Matthew ran back the way he had come, ignoring the yells that followed him.

And now here he was. Sad, broken, and clutching a box of tissues to his chest.

"I have an idea, Mattie," his enthusiastic brother suddenly exclaimed, "why don't we go to that coffee place you like? The one by Starbucks!"

"You mean Tim Hortons?" Matthew asked, wiping at his eyes with the sleeve of his sweatshirt. Alfred nodded eagerly before all but dragging the Canadian out the door.

Matthew and Alfred sat at a small table in a corner of the coffee shop. While Alfred chattered enthusiastically, his brother was silent, staring idly into his cup of coffee. They sat like that for awhile, Alfred wishing desperately he could go directly to the Prussian and make him feel as much pain as said boy put his brother through. But he knew all that would accomplish was Mattie getting upset with him and him getting kicked off the football team for fighting. So he resigned himself to do what he could to cheer up his little brother. Granted, there wasn't much.

Alfred had been looking around, searching for anything that could help him in this impossible task, when he saw Arthur sit down at a table a few down from their own.

"Hey Iggy! What are you doing here? I thought you hated coffee!"

"I do you git! They sell tea here too." the blond grumbled, bringing his cup to his lips. Alfred frowned. Arthur seemed in a worse mood than usual.

"Something wrong Iggy?"

"No!" he hissed, "Now if you'll excuse me, I have work to do!" With that the British man stood and left, bringing his tea with him. On his way out the door, he very nearly knocked over Romano, who promptly called a few choice words after the retreating figure. Once he finished his cursing, Romano promptly ordered his espresso and made his way to the booth the Brit had previously occupied.

"Hey! Romano, you're here too?"

"Shut it bastard! I just want to enjoy my coffee in peace!" said Italian growled

"Touchy..." he mumbled, turning back to his brother, who still hadn't moved his eyes from his untouched coffee.

"Mattie," his brother looked up, "are you sure you're okay?"

The Canadian just stared into his cup, shrugging.

"You know, I have no objection to helping you get reveng-"

"Just leave it, Al." Matthew finally looked into his eyes and the American wasn't surprised to see the tears that were welling up in his eyes.

"Okay," he said, leaning back, "okay."

Romano spared the two a glance, wiping at his own eyes.

"What do you want? I have a lot of homework to do."

"I want to help."

"Help what?"

"I want to help you, Romano, and Mattie get revenge on those three assholes."

"Why would you want to do that?" the Brit questioned, his glare becoming slightly less forceful.

"Because, no one hurts my brother and gets away with it, you're angrier than usual, and Mattie and Romano are friends, so I kind of have to include him."

Arthur looked at him with suspicion, but opened his door wider, allowing the American to come into his dorm room.

Alfred set down his backpack and pulled out a large binder and showed his friend the words printed on the title.

'Revenge On the BTT' was spelled out in large bold letters.

"Why would the Hamburger Bastard want to help us?"

"I don't know, but Arthur said he had some good ideas, but I don't want to go by myself."

"Well I don't want to go!"

"Please Lovino!" Matthew begged. Lovino paused, looking away.

"Fine."

So that is the first chapter. I'm going to say right now that I have NO intentions of bashing the BTT and I might alternate between BTT and BFT. If you have any suggestions for pairings or you would like to see a certain character, feel free to ask! I'm not completely sure, but I was thinking of having Canada end up with Romano, but I might decide on a different pairing. Also, if you have any ideas, feel free to PM me! I love hearing what my readers have to say! I hope you liked it! -Kate
