Authors Note: Okay I found a Transformers pairing generator that I had seen another author mention in their story I don't remember this member's user name, but I went to Google and did search on it and found it. This is also my Transformers fanfic, so please be kind to it.

Pairing from the generator is: First Aid/Ultra Magnus-violent and there is a slight mention of other pairing. (Think you can figure it out? XD)

Disclaimer: I don't own any recognizable Transformers characters, only the idea for this.

Setting: A year after the battle at Autobot City

(Ultra Magnus POV)

It has been a year since the battle that had taken place at Autobot City. It was the year that we had lost some good Autobots in the battle, several which were lost even before the battle were Prowl, Ironhide, Brawl, and with them our late former CMO, Ratchet.

In that time after the battle, came the day that the Protectobot, First Aid had become the new Autobot CMO and since that day I have watched the young CMO change in subtle ways almost like he was becoming Ratchet in his new responsibilities. I've seen him almost have fits like Ratchet did when he would tend to the injured or deal with the twins, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe after a prank had gone wrong.

The change in his attitude is subtle, like how most changes can be with most mechs.

Just today I saw First Aid throw a tool at the twins and yell at them like Ratchet to get out of the repair bay. I think that I heard that those were things that Ratchet had done when he was alive and functioning.

I even spoke to Hot Spot about First Aid and his behavior; he said that it was nothing and that First Aid had learned from one of the greatest Autobot medic. I could tell that while it didn't seem to bother Hot Spot all that much, it did seem to really bother one of the other Protectobots very much. I believe that I heard Hot Spot call the mech Streetwise. I wonder why it bothered him so much and what his connection was to our young CMO.

My only real hope is that we don't lose First Aid in battle or from complete exhaustion while fixing one of our comrades.
