Give Me Love
She's walking down the street when she gets the call.
The bite of New York winter wind creeping up her neck and down her back almost has her ignoring the screaming device, but instead she reaches into her bag and searches for her phone.
She pulls it out checks the caller ID and just about drops it.
She hits the answer button quickly before it can go to voice mail and gasps his name out on a desperate, hopeful plea.
"Castle?"
It takes a few moments and she's afraid she's gotten her hopes up, but then, he answers, his voice is deep and beautiful, even over the phone, and the three words he says are the three words she's been waiting months to hear.
"Kate, come home."
She runs.
_
He opens the door to her, face red and hair wind blown.
And when their eyes meet times stops. Breathing ceases. There is nothing but the two of them and this moment. Then everything speeds back up and the world starts turning again.
They gasp each others names at the same time, and then they're on one another.
Teeth clashing, tongues seeking, hands searching. He backs her to the nearest wall and pushes her to it, and begins his exploration of her body.
Feeling all of her, that he hasn't felt in far to long
He just wants to love her, and she lets him.
_
They're laying in bed later that night when the next words are spoken, aside from the quiet gasps of their love making earlier.
It's her that speaks first lying atop him, cradled in his arms for the first time in months.
"Do you still love me?"
The words are a broken whisper right off of her lips, so much pain in them that he can't help the tear that falls down his face as he pulls her closer, scared if he lets her go everything will fall apart again.
"Yes, of course Kate, I didn't ever stop."
She kisses him again, slow and peaceful, completely different from any of the kisses they've ever shared.
When she pulls away and speaks again her voice is stronger.
"Castle I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt you. I swear to you that was never my intention."
They're sitting up now and he cradles her face in his palm, showing her he's no longer angry.
"Kate, I know, I know and I'm so sorry I let my anger get the best of me. After being apart for so long I realized, I don't care what happens, I just need you."
They lay there for hours, breathing in one another, along with soft caresses and quiet whispers.
_
When morning comes, everything is lighter including the air surrounding them, they can breath easier and laugh.
Everything is fine, they're back together
Ahhh happy endings. They make me feel all warm and tingly on the inside. Anyways this is just a random one-shot. Honestly I don't even know what their fight was over. Let me know what you think!
