AN: This is just a short little story that came into my mind one day. Now I have finally put it on my computer and uploaded it to the website. Well, enjoy.

It didn't take long for the newlywed couple's peaceful night of sleep to be shattered by their still infant daughter sleeping down the hall from their own bedroom. Michael and Miley were asleep peacefully, each thinking that tonight's the night that they would finally be able to get a full night's sleep. They didn't care for a good night's sleep, just a full one would do. They thought that they were going to get it on this night.

Of course, Destiny had other ideas.

Once she woke up, she began to scream at the top of her lungs, and she was not going to stop once she started, until either Michael or Miley came to check on her.

The minute Destiny's cries radiated through their residence, Michael bolted up, long blonde hair hanging all over his face. Sighing irritably, he fell back on his bed and pulled his wife close to him.

"I believe it is your turn to go and check on our daughter." Miley said, breaking free of his grip, and turning away from him.

"Fine. Fine." Michael said. He kicked off the sheets, grabbed his Cardinals shirt to put on, and then he began his walk towards his daughter's room. He opened the door, and walked in. Of course, the minute that the door opened, she began to calm down. Then when Destiny saw Michael, she stopped crying all together.

"Hi there, Miss Harris." Michael said, leaning over her crib, and looking at his daughter.

Destiny began to babble baby talk as she reached for her father with her might. Sighing, Michael grabbed her out of the crib. See, one of the things that Destiny had a habit of doing was grabbing Michael's hair and putting it into her mouth. That is why whenever Michael dealt with Destiny, he had his hair pinned back. Of course, tonight, Michael didn't do that, and the minute he had his daughter in his arms, Destiny grabbed a hand full of his hair, and in her mouth it went.

"Hey!" Michael said, snatching his hair back. Destiny looked at him with a smile on her face.

"If you weren't my daughter, I would be cussing you out now." Michael muttered as he walked out of her room.

Michael walked over to his laptop, and turned it on. Michael went to a video playing website, and typed in one of the most famous videos that he thought of.

"Freese hits it in the air to center! We will see you tomorrow night!"

Michael looked down, and Destiny was smiling as she stared at the screen. She began to clap as she stared at the screen.

"I knew that you would like that." Michael said. He kept on playing other videos, and sure enough, Destiny began to look like she was falling asleep. Michael went over to the couch, and turned on television, and began to watch some of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games that he had recorded from earlier.

Miley awoke to notice that Michael was not asleep next to her. Then she heard that the television was on, and she went to see what they were doing in there. Once she reached the living room, she noticed that Michael and Destiny were sound asleep on the couch, a Cardinals game going on the screen.

Miley smiled, and went back to sleep in their bedroom.

AN: For those of you wondering, the baseball game that I am talking about was the game 6 pinch hit home run of the World Series (Cardinals vs Rangers, 2011) by David Freese, call made by Joe Buck. Ironically, his father Jack made the same call in another Cardinals game. Anyways, thanks for reading.
