"Katnesss!" I screamed "Katnesssss". There was a voice blared but getting clear. I opened my eyes to a blinding sun. "Owwww". I must of fallen out of bed, hard, I thought. I looked around to see Buttercup on my feet. "Oh Buttercup I just had the most horrible dream, I dreamed that Katness was in the Hunger games an….." I stopped. The house was quiet, to quiet. Katness wouldn't this early, would she? I looked around our room, it small and dim lighted apart from the window welcoming the sunlight and the bunt out candles we use at night, it sound not a lot but for me and my family we where grateful for every second we lived and live. It most of been Buttercup that woke me up because she was nuzzling my hand and purring and I was glad she awoke me the nightmare was the worst I had ever had since dad that died.
"Prim" my mum shouted "breakfast time". I slowly got dressed and tried to think but I just couldn't. I walked into the kitchen to find the food that katness had caught in the woods it looked like a bird, but I wasn't sure and, after a while I. gave up .'Oh Katness is so great' I thought to myself 'so brave to go into the woods unseen and catch an animal with a bow and arrow with such accuracy, it's amazing!'" I wonder what katness is doing?" I let that slip out of my mouth by accident and expected my mum to stay silent but she spoke. " Don't worry" she said giving me a hug. "I bet she's fine, Katness is strong it will take a while to crack her!" She joked and kissed me softly on the cheek. I laughed. "Ms Everdeen" someone gasped at the door, that was helping up a wounded, still breathing, body. " Please help" she said looking very worried. "Of course" my mum said. I didn't know either of them but with no nurses or doctors from the Capitol, me and my mum became doctors I was just an assistant but I'm getting better and better. Mum put our breakfast to the side and helped the lady put the wounded man onto the table. 'Same old routine but this time Katness wont come back from the woods this time, bear in mind survive the games' I thought. I chocked down a sob making it into a cough. "Oh Prim dear I'll do this one you go to school, have a nice day" mum said. "I will" I admit I didn't think I would but I'm trying to see positives but all I see is…. Katness alone, wounded and soon to die in an labyrinth of different terrains lost without the company of family to surround and help her. What if she didn't come back, how would I survive without her? Two words… I couldn't.
