Lucina released herself from her Father's tight embrace. She wiped the extra tears off her face and looked up at her father, Chrom.

"Better Lucina?" He asked with concern.

"Yes. Father... I'm sorry. It just all rushed back at once."

Chrom could see the pain his child had suffered; such unimaginable suffering couldn't be easy on her. He decided to change the subject, lighten the mood a little. "Father..."

Lucina's head perked up immediately. "Should I call you something else?"

"No, it's just strange to my ear... I like it." Chrom said smiling softly.

"Father! Heh, heh..." She smiled.

Chrom's smile just grew wider. "Hah! Yes, it will take some getting used to!"

Lucina's giggled. At last, she was in her father's strong arms, safe from all harm and danger.

"I'm sorry-"

A voice new to Lucina, but apparently familiar to Chrom, broke through the silence.

"-Chrom?"

Lucina and Chrom turned to see the intruder. Chrom spoke first,

"Hmm? Oh, Robin. What is it?"

Lucina looked over the ivory-haired tactician. Her face showed signs of sadness, though she tried to hide it.

"It's just that... You two are out here alone..." Lucina, seeing how she no longer had her father's attention, ignored their chatter and took a moment to look around. There was a river, Chrom, the tactician- Robin, and a forest; but something was off.

"Can we tell her Lucina-"

"Where's Mother?!" Lucina asked in utter confusion.

Chrom stared at her, confused for a second then responded softly.. "Lucina... Robin's your mother."

"... What?"

Robin's reaction was more or less the same as Lucina's. "Her mother? Lucina? Chrom, what are you talking about?"

Chrom turned to look at his wife, "Robin, this is our daughter, Lucina. She came from the future."

Robin looked pained by these words. She walked up to Chrom and placed her hand on his face, a pitiful smile spreading across her face.

"Chrom, I know your heart is in the right place, but you can't believe everything someone tells you," Robin said, rubbing her thumb against her husband's cheek.

It then dawned on Lucina.

'My mother isn't my mother!'

It made absolutely no sense at all. Lucina was sure Robin was certainly not her mother. She remembered waking up every morning and seeing someone who wasn't even vaguely similar to this Robin person at all!

Yet, she wore the ring of the royal house of Ylisse, and apparently married Chrom. Oh well, there was only one thing left to do: Play along.

"Robin, I have proof. See, Lucina has the brand in her left eye," Chrom said grasping his wife's hands in his own. "Lucina?"

Lucina got the silent message and walked over to the silver-haired woman, (while Chrom released her hands and took a few steps away) and avoided blinking. Robin stared into her branded eye. Doubtful at first, but then completely shocked.

"She does have the brand!"

Chrom smiled, while Lucina tried to put on her most convincing one.

Robin stood there thinking a few things over in her head, "If this is Lucina, than what happened to our Lucina?"

"She's right where you left her," Lucina's smile dropped as she replaced it with her best-looking sad one. "Oh, mother it-it's so good to see you again."

Lucina tried act as realistic as possible. She ran to her fake mother and embraced her.

"Lucina.." Robin cooed, rubbing Lucina's head in a motherly fashion.

Lucina tried her hardest to cry to seem like she genuinely missed this woman. But when she realized that she would never be able to call her real mother "Mother", the tears fell easier.

I hope you like this so for. Constructive criticism is appreciated.
