My prediction for something that could happen in the second Trial of Apollo book. I hope you enjoy it.
Disclaimer: I only own this idea, not the franchise.
The trio, Apollo, Leo, and Calypso, arrived at Camp Jupiter within a day or two after leaving Camp Half-Blood. They were immediately greeted by Frank, Hazel, Piper, and Jason, who was given word about their arrival ahead of time. They talked to the trio for a handful of minutes before Reyna appeared.
This was the first Apollo officially met Reyna and only one thought was in his mind; she was absolutely beautiful. One look at her caused him to be completely speechless. Apollo was snapped out of his trance when a demigod rushed over to the group and announced that monsters were attacking the camp.
The group eventually separated into pairs to deal with the threat. Coincidentally, Apollo and Reyna were paired together. As they fought, Reyna asked Apollo why he wasn't fighting to his full power. When Apollo quickly explained the punishment from his father, Reyna grabbed his hand.
Energy surged through Apollo. The strength that he felt as a god returned to him. Not wanting to waste any time, Apollo attacked the monsters with his regained strength and killed them all with one hit. When he finally got off his high, Apollo turned to the girl who gave him the strength.
Reyna laid on the ground, unconscious, with irregular breathing. Apollo had no idea what was going on, but knew the situation was dire when Hazel knelt to the warrior's side and yelled her brother's name. Almost immediately Nico appeared and took over the situation. He assured everyone Reyna would be alright before carrying her to her room for her to sleep it off.
A couple hours later Reyna woke up with her immediately noticing that her hair was out of its braid. She made an attempt to sit up, so she could check on everyone, but then she heard somebody from her bedroom door say, "Just lay back down. Frank has everything under control."
Reyna slowly moved back to her original position before asking, "Did you kill all of the monsters?"
"With the strength that you gave me." Apollo confirmed as he sat in the chair next to her bed. "I felt like a god again."
Reyna didn't say anything, so Apollo did. "Why did you do it?" He wondered. "Nico told everyone that you can give strength to others, but you don't know how to have it returned to you."
The young lady turned her head away from the god. "So what?"
"So why did you give so much strength to me?" Apollo interrogated. "Why not give it someone you trusted instead of me?"
"I don't know." Reyna closed her eyes to try to fall asleep to avoid the conversation. "It was a quick decision I needed to make."
Apollo didn't say for a handful of minutes. Reyna was just about to fall asleep when Apollo asked, "So a demigod can't heal your broken heart?"
Reyna didn't answer because she knew he saw her memory of the conversation she had with Venus.
"But I'm not a demigod." Apollo insisted almost stubbornly. "I'm a go-"
"I need to sleep." Reyna interrupted. "Please leave."
Apollo sighed. Standing from the chair, he leaned over and kissed her cheek. "I know you felt it to. When you want to talk, just tell me and I'll listen."
Apollo went to leave, but was stopped when Reyna grabbed his hand. He turned around and was surprised by what happened next.
She kissed him, not caring what could happen to her, and he didn't stop her.
