Arms of a Stranger

JPOV

How did everything go so wrong? What was with this girl I loved doing with a bloodsucking leech? He would kill her. I was positive.

I loved her, and I'm sure she would fell the same way. I wanted her to be mine, not his, yet she chose the bloodsucker over her best friend. He left her to for some strange reason and yet she took him back. He was destroying everything that was pure in her.

She had started to become happy before that vampire with spiked hair return. Her return had something to do with seeing Bella jump off a cliff. If Bella had waited, none of them would have returned. I was the reason she was happy, not them. What had they done to her to make her see them as angels? I was the best one for her. I was at least human.

I had to do something to keep that leech away from her. And than I saw it, I would give Charlie Bella's bike. He wouldn't like that she had one, but it was the best solution I had. I knew he wouldn't be happy, and hopefully he would not let that reeking bloodsucker near her. Get her in trouble to save her.

It was cruel, but I had to try. They would have to forgive me for keeping her alive. Keep her safe. If I was lucky I would have a go at him. Screw the treaty, they were going to end a life, and I would try and stop it. Luck being on my side, Sam needed someone to remind the leeches of the treaty. Since I was going to see Charlie, there was a good chance that the devil would be with her. I'd remind him of the finer points of the treaty.

I was right when I thought that Bella riding this motorcycle. He was disturbed that I had enabled her, but I pointed out that she would have gone to someone else if I had refused. This practically explained by she had cuts and bruises that he had nearly written off as her being herself. Though I was not prepared for him to refer to me as a monster like those vampires's, how could he?

The leech's car pulled up in the driveway. Bella looked hurt that I had told Charlie. But I had to do it, I convinced myself. It was for her own good. Yes, the bike was still in the driveway, and knew I had told. I did what I had to do.

They got out of the car, walked over. I was polite to her, as much as I could. She wanted to know why I had told. He said it was because I thought he wouldn't let her come see me. It was true; he was the one keeping her. Than she explained to me that it wasn't him that was keeping her, it was Charlie. Charlie had grounded her.

I explained to her vampire that the treaty said that they wouldn't bite another human, and if they did it meant war. She said to butt and that it wasn't any of my business. Of course it was. I loved her and I wanted her alive. He would destroy her in every way I could imagine. The pain I felt was overwhelming. She was in on it. How had he convinced her to become one of them?

She looked like she wanted to comfort me, but he wouldn't let her. Charlie yelled for her to come. She told him that they should go. They went to the house, leaving me in pain.

My Bella was in the arms of a stranger.
