HI!

Sooo, hmmm not much to say really,

I had this idea churning in my head for a few weeks now and I finally have been able to write it up and post it=D

Disclaimer: I don't own Peter Pan. If I did Wendy and Peter would have stayed together.

Enjoy!

Wendy watched as the other Children at her school played Red Rover.

"RED ROVER, RED ROVER SEND SLIGHLTLY RIGHT OVER!" the kids giggled as one of the former lost boys ran over to the group and broke their linked hands.

She sighed.

It's been a few months now since they came back from Never Land, and she was wishing that she never did.

She missed Peter too much.

She sighed once more; the boy who would never grow up hadn't once come to visit her. She was starting to wonder if he would ever come back.

'But he promised didn't he? And Peter Pan always keeps his promises.' She mused, steeling her resolve.

She looked back up at the children playing, not noticing the blond haired boy wearing a leaved tunic sneaking up behind her.

After he was a few feet away from her, and making sure she still wasn't aware of his presence he grinned.

"Red Rover, Red Rover Send WENDY Right OVER!" he exclaimed boisterously

The former lost-girl turned around to see the boy she loved grinning at her.

"Peter!" she yelled as she ran into his arms, tackling the boy to the ground.

The boy laughed as he held her. He had missed her so much.

He heard a soft sniffling sound, and sure enough found Wendy was crying.

"Girl, why do you cry?" he asked.

She smiled up at him, remembering saying almost those exact same words to him months ago.

"Because I missed you Peter, I missed you so very much!" she cried as she snuggled into his chest.

He wrapped his arms tighter around her. And frowned, he didn't like it when his Wendy-Lady was sad.

'Wait a minute' he thought, "MY WENDY-LADY?" He looked down at her and smiled, he liked the sound of that.

He slowly lifted her head up and pressed a thimble to her lips.

Her tears stopped and she stared up at him, a faint tint of pink dusting her cheeks.

He chuckled happily and smiled.

"No more need for tears my Wendy Lady" he told her

"Because no matter where you want to be, here or in Never Land, I am never going to let you go"

She smiled at him happily and pressed her lips to his lightly.

"I think Red Rover is my new favorite game."

And with that he smiled.

'Oh the Cleverness of me' he mused as him and his Wendy-Lady stayed embrace, no longer worried about the future.

They could both face the fear of growing up, so long as they were in each other's arms.
