10 years ago, what started out as a small attraction. Has grown and blossom into a world wide sensation. Millions of athletes compete for a chance, at the God of all obstacle course: Mt. Midoriyama. On American Ninja Warrior, we've seen long time veterans and phenomenal rookies. From the greats like the Godfather David Campbell and Flip Rodriguez, to upstarts like The Kid Mathis Owadi.
Now we go to a different brand of Ninjas, Cartoon Characters. We'll see from shows of old to the present day shows compete on the most brutal course constructed.
Let the games, begin.

We open up to a cheering crowd gathered around a certain obstacle course.
?: We are live and on our first step to crowning a the inaugural Cartoon Ninja Warrior! In the past decade, tons of athletes have faced this course. But starting right now we a load of new faces and interesting characters who will attempt to do what millions have not. Hello everybody, I'm your host: Don from the ReDONculous Race! And with me today may seem like an old man, but is a retired alien fighting plumber. It's Max Tennyson!
Max Tennyson: Thanks Don, and I have to say. With American Ninja Warrior in it's prime with the appeal it's gathered, I'm surprised just NOW we have people from all over the cartoon world run perhaps the most difficult challenge any of these guys have ever dealt with.
Don: And if I'm mistaken, your grandkids will be running this season?
Max: In due time, but they're not the only ones.
Don: For more on the course we go down to our third member of the team: former 80's pop sensation Lindanna, Linda Flynn!
Linda: Thanks Don, now these athletes will be going through the same process that we've all seen on American Ninja Warrior. And any use of gadgets and super powers are strictly forbidden, so we've made those runners wear special collars to negate their powers in the spirit of fairness. In the qualifying course they will have to tackle six obstacles.
If you have watched an episode of ANW, you know how it goes.
Linda: The first obstacle is the Floating Steps. Athletes will have to jump to five platforms, each higher than the last before swinging to the landing pad.
Second is the Big Dipper, athletes will have to hold to a handle bar as they take a big dip and try to grab onto the net for safety.
Our third obstacle was from a previous Obstacle Design Challenge The Wingnut. They must traverse three swinging handles that move side to side.
Number four is a balance obstacle Dice Run, athletes will have to have quick feet to run across six twenty-sided dice to move on.
Obstacle number five was a Ninja killer in 2015 The Hourglass Drop, to get past this obstacle you must get across one hourglass and then jump down on a trampoline to the other one. If athletes don't use the second bridge to get across then their run is done.
After all five obstacles they will have a choice to go up the Regular 14 and 1/2 foot Warped Wall, or try their hand at the 18ft Mega Warped Wall. If our athletes happen to get atop the Mega Wall, then they will win $10,000! If not, they will only have one chance up the regular wall instead of the usual three.
Linda: The first thirty cartoon ninjas to run the farthest the fastest will move on to the city finals. Don and Max, back up to you
