Too Late

It wasn't fair. In all her dreams of returning, they were welcomed back with open arms, their friends sobbing for joy. Not like THIS. Of everything she had missed about Narnia, she had missed the friends awaiting them the most. Now it was too late.

They were gone now, every last one of them. She closed her eyes and let the tears fall. I miss them, oh how I miss them!

There had been no goodbyes, and there never would be. So many things she had wanted to say, and now the opportunity was forever gone.
